Thank you both for your encouraging reminders that we are ALL being called to live in Joy as much as possible. I appreciate that both of you feel and center joy , though you have both been through quite trying times. In these days of tribulation for many precious people who suffer almost continuous losses and threats, and in these days of heartache for those of us who attempt to live in solidarity, Joy may not always first and foremost. But I find that the more I'm willing to feel, listen to, embrace and dialogue with ALL my feelings, the more palpable a companion joy can be. Otherwise the feelings I exile will come back and sometimes bite me and/or others in the knee. I've learned this the hard way from experience, and I'm still learning. Thank you for letting me say that.
❤ I'm speechless. This man is a gift to the world. I'm not religious myself. He's right on. Pretty much has it figured out I'd say.

Fr. Greg often says to the homies, "what a gift it would be to have a son like you"...♥️
