In this video, I will take you with me on my thoughtprocess of how I cut a 3 big Mexican Crazy Lace Agates.
Cutting agates is not as easy as it may seem, a lot of thought goes into it, and sometimes difficult decisions need to be made. I explain how to place a cut to avoid windows in the husk of an agate and many more details that are helpful to know, if you want to cut agates.

just want to mention that crazy lace generally has those botryoidal bubbles on the outside.. if you cut across on those, or grind down on the bubbles (though they look nice rough as well, with druzy), you can get fantastic bullseyes or circular patterns. I enjoy your channel thanks!

Funny you mention this. I just acquired a beautiful rough piece that has a cute botrypiodal growth in the center of one side. In order to preserve that bot element, I shaped it like a barrel and polished all around, but that area. I think it turned out beautiful. I guess it's time to start sharing some of my stuff on social media. 😆
