Hi everyone, mostly new viewers watching this. I would just like to point out, this video was released about a month before the horrible announcement of Act-Age's cancellation due to the unspeakable crimes of Tatsuya Matsuki. I won't go into details of what he did so as not to upset people, but it can easily be google searched if people are wanting answers. I do NOT in anyway condone his actions, nor do I wish to continue supporting Act-Age, for the sake of the victims involved and Shiro Usazaki, who's final decision was to have Act-Age cancelled. I've changed this video's thumbnail, which was originally Act-Age focused. As for getting rid of the Act-Age segment in the video, due to the frustrating cropping system youtube has, it makes it awkward to crop out the segment without the video being cut at very awkward stages, to the point it affected the other manga sections. Unfortunately, I am left to leave that segment in, but if anyone wishes to skip that part entirely, I would recommend doing so in all honesty. The timestamps are in the description to hopefully make this easier for you. Hope you guys understand!
I really really love act-age and fall in love from chapter 1. Im both sad and dissapointed at what the author did, and even more sad for uzasaki. What could be a series that sent her to a new height of her career now being cut short and become a stain instead. Hope she can find more opportunities in the future and keep on drawing. I really really love her drawing and see it's improvement throught every chapter.
@@kiggerst I have no idea what happened but That reminds me of the Ali band news with that “drummer” (They did beastars op and jujutsu kaisen ed) That drummer left a bad stain on the rest of the band I hope the band is able to recover from that
@@nagisa0931 an artist work directly supports them. If you want to separate that the only is to stop giving them any type of support of acknowledgement. You quite literally can't separate the art from the artist.
It’s not about separating the art from the artist it’s about retribution vs rehabilitation. We can’t change the prison system to be more effective at changing criminal behavior but reacting with hatred and punishment is definitely not helping solve the issue. Not a single one of us is any better than anyone else, it’s about critiquing behavior in a constructive way and working to correct it. Condemnation, even in the form of not supporting someone’s art and denying that they have or can still have value, is not bringing about good change.
Can I just say I'm so happy to see someone enjoy and recommend skip to loafer? It's such a good wholesome read. It was also nice to see another fan of dungeon meshi, because that one is a genuine favorite of mine!
Yotsuba, Dungeon Meshi, and Skip to Loafer are easily three of my favorite manga of all time! I'm definitely going to have to check out more of your manga recommendations in these videos because you clearly have excellent taste.
Damn, reading the news about Act-Age's mangaka right after finding this video. It seems like such a cool idea and something that I would've loved to read. Such a shame, great video though. Love the recommendations
At the time it was actually my favourite manga within the WSJ magazine .... It's a real kick to the teeth but I hope the artist, Usazaki Shiro, comes back even stronger because I loved her work! Thanks for watching 😊

Yeah, it's incredible how she can make the viewers so hyped about such comfy series. As a Slice of Life fan, recommending these kind of series to other people without making them bored, is really difficult
I’m more than delighted of you including Skip to Loafer! It is really a unique manga with a great diversity of characters, each with their own personality, and not necessarily sticking to stereotypes! Thanks to the recent airing of the anime, it has started to gain a wider audience, which it totally deserves. What is even more refreshing (as stated in the video) are the different relationships between the characters, my favorite being Shima and Mitsumi and Mitsumi and Mika. Amazing video!! You’ve convinced me into reading all the recommendations! Good day!

This video is incredibly well executed. I will read all of these (except Act-Age). Thank you for the recommendations. Also, make more videos! Subscribed.
Thank you so much for recommending Tsurezure Biyori. Just finished it (bought the kindle version, and jumped a bit between it and the scanlation), and wow, it really is so good, as you said the characters are amazing, and holy smokes it's really funny. It's now one of my favorite SoL, and I love how the romance developed as well, very natural. To those interested in Our Wonderful Days/Tsurezure Biyori, I truly recommend buying at least the digital version, not only are you supporting the author, but you'll get to see the bonus stories exclusive to the volumes, which you won't find scanlated (and they are a blast!). Also, as a big fan of Dungeon Meshi for more than 2 years, I must say you made a great pitch for it and described it very well. Edit: Mixed in my head the characters part from the Dungeon Meshi and Tsurezure Biyori segments, Tsurezure has great characters as well though.
Can vouch for Yotsuba - I wasn't super interested but gave it a shot anyway. I enjoyed EVERY moment of it. It's delightful, funny, and so charming! I'm going through a hard time and Yotsuba was a wonderful escape and such a relaxing, comfy experience. I know I'm going to pull it out and reread it when I'm having a particularly bad day.
I heard about your channel today as I was listening to the “BONSAI POPcast” podcast. After hearing the praise that they gave you, I got interested and looked up your channel. This manga recommendation video happened to be the first one I decided to watch, and wow - I am excited to go through the rest of your videos. 👍 And thanks to this video, I will be looking into Our Wonderful Days. Thank you for recommending it! :)
Love your editing, your voice, the point you made, your recommendation, wait the minute.... basically all about your video haha. Wanna see your next part of manga recommendation. I wish you can include more of completed tittle instead of ongoing since I do have bad traits of quickly lose interest of wanted to watch / read more if I had to wait. Just my selfish wish haha. Anyway, all the best!!
Thank you so much! And you raise a good point actually, I'll take a look at the manga I was going to include for the next part and see what I can do! Thanks for watching :)
I really like reading Skip to Loafer manga, it's filled with well written characters and focus on relationships among friends and strangers and not primary on romance and romance related drama. Once I knew there's an animation adaptation, I straight away search for it and just the anime opening theme with the dancing scene alone tells me that the story is in good hand.. Good Lawd that adorkable dance...
You know sometimes after finishing an episode, you feel like it was just a minute or so? I honestly got the feeling after finishing your video which speaks for excellent and well made video it was. The music was fitting and I really appreciate that you took your time to explain each series . I really enjoyed it and you've earned a sub and notification bell ringer right here. I will be checking out your other videos and am looking forward to the part 2. Cheers!
Wow thank you for such a lovely comment. I'm glad it wasn't a drag and engaging enough - thanks for watching the video and the support, very much appreciated!
So awesome to see your recommendation cover Blue Orchestra. Sad to notice not much mention of the story. The story hit home my memories of my time in playing violin in orchestra. The moments that evoke strong emotions, such as the light(even strong) competition between friends and growth alongside classmate when hours of practice is heard from finally hitting that level of sync the conductor tried to guide everyone to realize. Your videos are incredibly edited and you have a calming voice that really invites your audience. Your videos have me curious as to what’d you think of Aki Irie’s, “Go with the clouds, north-by-northwest”. The artwork and panel flow is the most memorable in regards to “taking in the scenery”, like how it was reading Kaoru Mori’s “A Bride’s Story”. Looking forward to seeing more of your content ! :D
Another Blue Orchestra reader!! And I enjoy the story, but it's the characters and art that stood out a lot more for me, maybe because i'm well ... not so skilled with any instruments unlike yourself, so that was a little harder to me to be relatable (still an amazing story though!) And I'm currently reading Go with the clouds! It's so gorgeous, anything Aki Irie touches just flows so beautifully, i'm definitely going to be covering her and Kaoru Mori on my channel at one point, legends!

This was a great first video! I wasn’t sold on everything, but the use of background music is more immersive than actual TV shows and movies, for real! It’s a bit unfortunate the Act-age recommendation did not age well due to reasons…but I am interested in Skip and Loafer now! I’ll give Dungeon Meshi and Blue Orchestra a shot too~

I'm loving this channel. The content is great and your voice is really pleasant. Keep it up! :)
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
so happy to hear Sangatsu no Lion's soundtracks:)
Man I gotta rewatch and reread;-;
Sangatsu has such an amazing soundtrack, easily one of my favourites!
This video is incredibly well executed. I will read all of these (except Act-Age). Thank you for the recommendations.
Also, make more videos!
Subscribed.
Rip act age
(Sorry, I must have missed this comment) But thank you so much, I hope you end up liking the manga - and more videos are on the way!
I find this so funny cause now if I'm seeing things right it's your pfp and if that doesn't suggest success I really don't know what does 😭 HAHAHAHA
dang your editing and recommendations are top notch keep it up
Thank you so much, i'm glad you like the video :)
Again, your editing is a delight!
Glad to find a theurapatic voice in a manga recommendation video
Your editing is excellent
Definitely gonna check out these mangas
Can't wait for part 2, we have like the exact same taste lol (nice sangatsu ost :D )
The editing work is seriously awesome, great video!
Thank you! Your comment is much appreciated :)
Editing and narration is top notch
Thank you!
Always has been
So awesome to see your recommendation cover Blue Orchestra.
And I enjoy the story, but it's the characters and art that stood out a lot more for me, maybe because i'm well ... not so skilled with any instruments unlike yourself, so that was a little harder to me to be relatable (still an amazing story though!)
And I'm currently reading Go with the clouds! It's so gorgeous, anything Aki Irie touches just flows so beautifully, i'm definitely going to be covering her and Kaoru Mori on my channel at one point, legends!
Your channel is such a gem - I’m so glad I stumbled upon it!!! Thank you for these amazing recs!!
Really good video, if you keep making videos of this quality you will blow up in popularity.
Thank you, much appreciated!
just caught up on skip to loafer after watching your video a few days ago and omg!!!! i suspected i would like it from your description (and the fact that i love dunmeshi and yotsuba&!) but wasn't ready for how much i fell in love with it. thank you for the rec!!!
I love the footnotes. You should consider linking your Twitter in the description as well :)
Oh wow, you're right! I completely forgot to add that link in, thank you for pointing that out! :)
I think i fell in love, i am dropping everything and reading all of these. This is a 100% hit on my taste!
Thank you for this video, I've just read Witch Hat and Yotsuba! and they are absolutely gorgeous pieces of storytelling. They've really brightened up my time, so thank you again for making these great videos!
Great video! I've read all these manga and love them all. Skip to Loafer is my favorite and i love Nao-chan sooo much! I love to see more of her interaction with Mika. and Mitsumi is just sooooo wholesome!! >.
Nao-chan is one of my favourite characters in the manga!!! She's so sweet with Mitsumi!
underrated channel here fr, when will youtube blow this channel??? come on utube
ha, thank you!
Why am I finding you only now wth ... such fire content 🔥🔥👑
Thank you, appreciate it! 👍😊
I can't pick right words to say HOW AMAZING your videos are! I found your channel with absolutely stunning video about Witch Hat Atelier, and after watching your 14 recommendations I'm nearly speechless....I'll just..i'll read every your recommendation with passion. PLEASE KEEP IT UP
This was a great first video! I wasn’t sold on everything, but the use of background music is more immersive than actual TV shows and movies, for real! It’s a bit unfortunate the Act-age recommendation did not age well due to reasons…but I am interested in Skip and Loafer now! I’ll give Dungeon Meshi and Blue Orchestra a shot too~
Editing was so awesome👏👏👏👏
Thank you very much - I'm glad you think so!
I thoroughly enjoyed the manga on this list. I've just caught up with Skip & Loafer and am now deprived ;_; thank you for this video and can't wait till your next one!
Need more of this !!!
Well more of this channel overall

The accent... im fading
He saying it’s good
Great video! I actually ended up following your recommendations and they are spot on
Thank you! But oh nice, any in particular you really liked at all?

Dayumn ur amazing , and your description is wonderful , il be sure to read these mangas
This is a great recommendation video! I’ve been getting into manga recently and have been looking for some lesser known stories to read. I’m a huge fan of Blue Giant and am looking forward to checking out Blue Orchestra now. Really superb editing too!
I'm going to check them all out!.. Thanks for the video. Your editing is amazing and the amount of work you're putting into making your videos... Is incredible. And I love your accent
Went here from the video about Witch Hat Atelier and damn you've completely earned my sub - your editing is so nice and your voice and speech is hella enjoyable to listen to and look at. Super good work, can't wait to see more (and thank you for all the good recs and chuckles along the ones I already knew !)
Great vid and I'm looking forward to checking out your recommendations.
I have read Yotsuba and I am with you; it's genuinely a heartwarming and hilarious story. I have literally laughed so hard I was in tears, even when I've reread it and know what the joke is. It's definitely a good to, feel good manga for me. Agreed with the prefect comedic timing and artwork to just leave a person in stitches or d'awwing at the cuteness.
your voice is so soothing i could hear it all day
Haha, thank you!
😂
From this list i can guarantee that you'll enjoy Hananoi Kun to koi no Yamai, Sukinako ga megane wo wasureta and Shiori experience, first 2 are cute and sweet while the last has excellent art and story.
I have been a fan of Yotsubato for almost a decade and interact with my niece with a mixed characteristics of Yanda and Jumbo (mostly Yanda 🤣). I was aware of Skip to Loafer as well, so glad it's getting anime. But found some amazing new mangas like Delicious Dungeon and Our Wonderful Days. These mangas are not found on any top 10 lists or any listicles. Thanks for these!
woah!!! I really love your editing skills! so damn! 😍🥰🥰
Part 2 of the video when? Ok this is based. Our wonderful days in particular I’m looking forward to reading. A pity about Act age
Read OWD, wholesome af! Nanaya and her cousin are easily the best thing about the manga, thank you!
You just gained a new subscriber, amazing editing and I’ll definitely buy some of these
Can’t wait to see how this channel grows from here
Thank you very much, I'm glad I was able to convince you on some of these - I hope you enjoy them!
"And Marcille's closest......... mm, """pal""" XDD lol it really is just impossible to read them otherwise huh XD
Holy shit this was your first video?!
It's amazing!
yo, this has to be the only video where i actually wanted to read all the manga recommended (well, apart from act-age, now that i know what happened) and also it's so soothing and relaxing, not to mention the editing, it has to be one of my fav manga recs. anyways, great video but could you maybe list the music you used in the video? cause they all actually sound so good and i'd love to use them in my playlist when i am reading manga, but either way awesome video
Thank you so much, truly! I hope you enjoy the manga if you get around to reading them :)
You make a really good point about the music, in my newer videos i've been putting the tracks in my description, but because this was my first video I must have forgotten (my bad!) I'll go ahead and put them in now! Thanks 😊😊
@@linesinmotion that's no problem! and thank you, im sure ill enjoy all the mangas
@@bunnsiespetra I've just put it into my description now, but here's a list with all the music on! :) Thanks again pastebin.com/MSdbGSAP
@@linesinmotion i just saw this, but thank you so much!
The fist mention of Hinamatsuri I've come across on UA-cam. Kinda makes me happy.
The video is named "part one", was the part two ever made? Anyway, amazing video, and great recommendations!
Fantastic editing ! Im really happy that i found a creator i really like and kinda sad that u dont have a huge back catalogue of videos which i can devour. lol.
Anyway, i need to catch up with all your other videos now.
Wow, thank you very much, your support means a lot (loving the shin profile pic too haha)
@@linesinmotion glad to see someone notice :)
Cant wait for your new videos.
THIS VIDEO IS SO GOOD... the editing is so nice and smooth and it also got me to read skip to loafer - which like, thank you so much!? it's such a sweet, genuine manga and i had tons of fun reading it. i love nao with my everything (i like how she acts as a nice adult figure for mitsumi and mika; it's really nice to see) and all of the friendships are SO CUTE!! i already wanna reread it lol
i was happy to see dunmeshi here, too! love those idiots. and blue period - granted that one's in a different video. can't wait to see what other manga recs & content you have in store!!! ^_^
A very underrated channel . I love your content 💗
Thank you so much!
love your videos, quality is wonderful thank you
I wanted to buy the Haikyuu manga only to realise it’s not published in my country, so I bought Witch Hat Atelier instead and, omg, I didn’t expect to like it so much! So if someone heard about that manga but wasn’t sure if picking it up, I can recommend it :)
thanks for paying my grandma's rent and buying me groceries... you're the nicest person i know..
I'm about to simp, this lady's voice is so lovely
Hey, just wanted to let you know I’m really enjoying Skip to Loafer. I’ve already been reading dungeon meshi and yotsubato is in my top 3. It’s unfortunate with act-age, but I may the other ones a shot. Thanks for the recommendations.
