Homunculus, The Climber, and The Fable are on my favorite manga list, so it's always nice to see more people talk about them. Five of these I had never even heard of so that's awsome too.
This is the only video where I've actually gotten recommendations I haven't heard of or seen before, most other "top 10 mangas you should read" might not copy off of each other, but they repeat the same 5-7 ones I've already heard of a million times, I gotta give props to you for actually recommending underrated/hidden gems.
Thank you for talking about Solanin!! I first read it when I was like 16 and enjoyed it a lot as an amateur musician myself, but I recently re-read it last year at pretty much the exact same age as the characters and it quickly became one of my all-time favorites. I was uniquely primed to connect with it as it felt so specifically tuned my my situation in life and was speaking directly to me. I was also dealing with catching up to others my age and deciding whether to keep pursuing music or grow up and commit to a more traditional/professional career. Everything about Meiko's character and dilemma was deeply relatable. It hit my heart in a way probably no other manga has, and helped me come to terms with my own feelings and work through some shit. Really truly powerful stuff and in my opinion fully equal to Asano's other masterwork Oyasumi Punpun. The latter has the benefit of a much longer story, but Solanin feels more grounded and in some ways more realistic and mature (not to say Punpun isn't those things, it's my #1 after all). Just so so underrated.
soloin is one of those manga everyone needs to experience at least once, any works made by Asano I find always leave you with some sort of impact. I myself also find alot of his works to be relatable and thats one of his greatest strengths.
you hit me in the soul when you said at some points, you start the feeling that you have seen it all, that you can start predicting what's going to happen to the story just a couple volumes in. I started my journey to Seinen due to that after having read manga even before I knew how to read. One recommendation I have is if you enjoy Asano Inio's manga, you will definitely enjoy Oshimi Shuuzou as well. Inside Mari is one of the most underrated manga that until you read the end, you will never be able to guess what was going to happen. The Climber if not the best, it should be kept at the top 3 best sports manga for me. Other than the climbing aspect it has more seinen aspects like the visual, the themes, the symbolism through insane art all thanks to Sakamoto sensei. There were moments that you don't need any dialogues but you could know what is actually going on through the art. Just like any other sports anime, i also got invested into climbing and so I tried to get to the attic in my room without any ladder and i climbed it so I am better than him. The Fable and The Climber are so peak. The Climber is at the top of my manga list, it’s just too good. The pacing gets kind of weird, but you’re able to connect the dots if you pay attention.
After finishing one manga, I'm constantly searching for new ones to read. I've seen The Climber but not the other nine so I shall start reading them. Thank you for this non-mainstream list.
Editing is so good as always, music choice was great also. But. Watch how close you are to the mic this time. Sounding a lot more crisp, and even intonation is getting much better too. Your smooth editing style, with incredibly high quality transitions may not be suited yet to this top 10 style yet. But continue practicing and you'll soon be able to pop off above all other content creators like this. Focus more on making personal videos I think for now while you hone in, like your sakamoto days video which remains my favorite. I think you are allocating too many resources here in this type of video with very little payout. Presenting a unique manga in a relatively short video, stapled to a core conflict or emotion/ thing you are trying to bring the viewer into, creates a much more private space of interaction that I think would nurture your budding community more and keep them coming back or telling their friends. As an example, moments like 5:18 really pull a viewer in before you start talking about the manga. Incredibly well done but comes too late in the video for it to impact things. 5 minutes is a long time you constantly have to be thinking about what you are competing with, down to a literal ham sandwich someone wants to make before watching their regular content. That seems ridiculous but is something to consider. Hopefully I've been helpful, I love the new enthusiasm and life in your voice but now focus on accuracy. looking forward to continue watching you grow. You breathe so much life into each video.
I completely understand with what your saying as all ways tysm for the feedback I cant emphasizes how much this helps me and gives me an insight on what I should do and work on next. As you said earlier I think I should start focusing more on singular-type Manga or one-focus videos type because although making videos like this, for example, is really fun and enjoyable the attention span isn't there yet and I don't really have an audience to be making longer form videos. So starting now and moving forward Ill focus on making shorter form content and videos like the sakomoto days where I focus on a specific niche and slowly build an understanding of how to make videos more entertaining so that I can make longer-form content in the future. And yeah LMAO still learning the mic I dont really like my current settings im using ive been testing and trying different ones but I cant seem to find one that works I also been practicing talking slower and making my words sound clearer.
This is one of the coolest videos i have ever seen. Definitely gonna take up your recommendation and read the mangas mentioned in this videos. Keep up with the great work man. Would love more manga recommendations.

Aye bro just checking in you ok? Just wanna ask. Just know Jesus loves u
Bro this video is amazing you need more recognition fr
The Fable and The Climber are so peak. The Climber is at the top of my manga list, it’s just too good. The pacing gets kind of weird, but you’re able to connect the dots if you pay attention.
I had to read it twice to fully understand everything lol the pacing is kinda strange since there's multiple time skips
genuinely surprised by the quality of this video and how few subs u have. ur bound to blow up if u keep producing such banger content
After finishing one manga, I'm constantly searching for new ones to read. I've seen The Climber but not the other nine so I shall start reading them. Thank you for this non-mainstream list.
Glad you can take a lot of manga from this video that’s the goal for me atleast try and put out series that isn’t mainstream or well known.
Oh yeah because I'm done school now. If you need someone to review scripts for smoothness, edits and intonation. lmk
I'll have to read homunculus, seems interesting. I used to be homeless myself, thanks for the recc.
