Thanks for the review, these professional cards are crazy expensive! Would love to see the $6000 RTX 6000 stacks up against the $1200 4090 or upcoming 5090?
100% agreed . At 6:06 you can see the new thermal paste on the CPU. Depending on the video, I might change the cooler in three or four times in a single day and in that case I don’t want to waist thermal paste. Regardless, before the PC leaves the shop, new paste always applies even if it’s only a few days old. Thank you for your comment!
What's up with Dell and needing to clean install on a brand new PC to fix issues? I've heard/read about many people having this sort of problem. How can Dell be sending out systems fresh from the factory with bad software like this?
Something is wrong with the image or with the final part of the image deployment. I wonder long would have take to Dell to figure out what was causing this. It’s disappointing that the flagship model is having issues on day one.
Thanks @Scott.The.IT.Guy for all the great reviews....I recently purchased this PC Precision 3680 Tower (still waiting for delivery). I ordered it without GPU.... I am planning to use my Dell RTX 3060 TI that I already have...... I am just wondering if you know the part number (or ebay link) of the GPU holder that this PC comes with. The one that is on top of the Power Supply and not the End GPU Holder (since 3060 TI isn't that big)...
Hey, I will look at the Dell parts list under the service tag and let you know. If I can’t find it, I will be around this PC on Tuesday and will get the Dell part number off from the actual part.
I am looking at Dell.com, under this specific 3680: Original configuration and the system specifications it shipped with and I can not find it :) I will be on-site next week, I will pop the sidecover off and let you know . If you don`t get this part right away, nothing will hapen, the card still will be firm and locked.
I love how modular this PC is, super easy to swap parts out, as long as you stay inside the Dell environment.
I like it lot , as more as I work with these the more I appreciate them.
dell makes great computers. ive had my dell for 9 years going on 10 next year.
Great review! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Looks like the XPS 8960 to me, just a few extra features and options and also cost more.
I agree with you, the XPS is not much behind regards of performance and it`s on sale a lot! Much, much cheaper than this.
Same here, it’s maybe a better choice if you don’t need ECC ram .

Same here, would love to do some benchmarks and test but never going to be able to afford these $5k cards for sure :)
You need to remove the old thermal paste on the CPU and applying a new one or use the one which comes with water cooling pump.
