it was directed by Sam Raimi and is the first instalment in the Spider-Man trilogy which stars Tobey Maguire as spider man. The movie told the origin story of the character and the creation of his first villain.
The development of this movie had started in the 1980s and was stalled for nearly 25 years due the severe issues they had with obtaining their licensing. The stall was also made longer by the crippling financial issues they faced along with trying to get the license. It finally premiered on the 29th of April 2002 and received positive reviews from critics and viewers alike.
It would go on to hit 100 million dollars in sales in a single weekend making it the first movie to do that and also the most successful movie based on a comic book at the time of its release. The 2002 Spiderman movie redefined the superhero genre and inspired two sequels as a follow-up.
The purpose of this fan fiction is to explore the idea that the symbiote had existed in the 2002 Spiderman movie. How would this particular story arc go if the symbiote was in the 2002 Spiderman movie? How would it have influenced the course of the story? What if Peter Became Spider-man earlier? In the Raimi timeline, he only became spider-man at the age of 18. If he was bitten at 15, events in the timeline would have happened much earlier
If spider man had the symbiote earlier on the first movie then things would go out somewhat kinda differently perhaps?

@@MissedThePart I think I might have an idea for that. Perhaps when Peter was trying to disable the first machine, Otto and Peter were struck by a large bolt of energy from the artificial sun, causing them to somehow merge into one being. However, this ends up with Otto having dominant control over Peter's body and Peter merely being a ghost like being, similar to the original Superior Spider-Man run. Just a little suggestion for it! Hope this helps! Can't wait for what you've got in store for everyone!

I just realized if fully bonded to the symbiote Peter could've learned to step out of it as it behaved like another being or decoy, all while Peter could still achieve his usual feats, unlike Brock that's A normal man without The Symbiote.

If he had on the symbiote, his mask wouldn't stay torn. I mean, if you remember spectacular Spider-man, Doc Ock and Spider-man was shocked by electro's output of electricity. He dropped Spider-man, and you could see some spots of Peter's regular clothing, while the rest of him is covered in the symbiote. The suit then repairs itself, covering his body. So, if he had on the symbiote very early on in the first movie, his suit would just repair itself, and not stay torn.
