@@EricErnst There was a few that required them that he kept quiet about but it was obvious there was none. This is the first time he admit that one of them didn't have cats.
Oklahoma doesnt check for that haha I got pulled over in my mustang and at the time only had an xpipe on and no muffler, and only thing cop said is that I need a muffler of some kind
These things and the blazers and S10s should’ve had the LS option from the factory, hell the Explorer had a V8 and Dodge put V8s on their mid-size ones. What the hell GM?
I personally don’t understand what people like about “true duals” where there’s no crossover. I think just about everything sounds better with an X pipe
Sounds like that bc of undersized exhaust along with no crossover. I would go no less than 2½ with either an "x" or "h" pipe. Sounds like an old farm truck as it sits, imo
Ballsy admitting to working on something with no cats. In Indiana most places wont touch it if it has no cats. Only way they will is if they put cats on for you.
This ain't Indiana lol. This is Tennessee and they didn't do anything illegal.... On the other hand, I've lived in NC my entire life and I have never had an issue getting cats deleted and then getting any of my vehicles inspected. My 2 foxbody's and my 2015 Chevy Silverado are catless and they have been since they were new.
@@Bobthebuilder.69 i know its not Indiana, and i''m not against this type of work being done. I'm just saying in Indiana you have to find some shady exhaust shops that'll do that type of work lol. And it is illegal to do exhaust work on a catless vehicle unless you add cats.
@@fluxgore6624 it is not illegal to work on a catless vehicle if you did not remove the cats. All they did were mufflers and tail pipes. Most exhaust shops in my area are glad to do whatever you want if they get to keep the cats. I have been friends with most of these guys for 30 plus years so that's another reason why I can get whatever I want done. Just being honest
@@Bobthebuilder.69 I may be wrong. Im just going by what a lot of exhaust shops told me. I've only had a couple that would work on my stuff around here.
Sounds like shit I don't like how that exhaust sounds it sounds way to mini crackles in that exhaust that doesn't sound anything like my 5.3 l with the flowmaster super 10 FX dual exhaust system setup through flowmaster that dual exhaust system is something that this truck should have got put on with one single muffler that's way too much it just didn't sound good on that engine
The engine swap on the sonoma sounds really deep and rumbly at the same time 👌
Those Gen 3&4 small blocks sound amazing with shorty's......👏
That brrapppp sound it makes is from the small tubing. I never go less than 2-1/2 pipe. Just for sound purposes. Very nice work from you as usual!!!
Braap? Lol.
The first time that he admitted working on a vehicle that has no cats.😁
I've seen a few older ones. Ones that are old enough to not legally require them.
@@EricErnst There was a few that required them that he kept quiet about but it was obvious there was none. This is the first time he admit that one of them didn't have cats.
@@ragintaurusmusclemercury7023 but he admitted that "someone else" did the pipes up front. He only toughed thr tailpipes and mufflers. Lol
Luckily TN doesnt have inspections. Atleast not where I live.

Perfect sound and setup. Beast mode
That s10 is a Sick 10!!! I’m gonna redo mine on my 99 stepside with those flat black tips! Great job guys on that exhaust install!
Needs an X and it'd be sweet!
Yes! I’ve been waiting for this one to drop after seeing it in the shorts 🎉

Shawty headers ni66a!
Had to get out of it at the end, she started dancing 🤣🤣
Gotta LOVE THOSE WHISTLE TIPS 8inch
Killing the game as usual!

The flat tips on the back 👍
So will you guys work on catless vehicles?
Need to run 2 1/2 and get rid of those chokemasters for some resonators
Would’ve loved to hear a before and after
Now That's What I'm Taking About...💪🏿
That sounds mean!!
Needs an X pipe.
Awesome truck. Sounds great
Need a double x pipe
ONE WHEEL PEEL
he had posi at the end, thats why he went sideways
What engine is running and what transmission?
Sounds great
beast modeee
That LS would have sounded better going with a dynomax setup. I had flowmaster knock offs on my LS1 z28. Hated the setup. Sounds sluggish.
Dayum that sounds sexy af yo 😍👍
“THEY SHOULDA p..ca..s on it.”
Those mufflers are going to vibrate his brain out bouncing off each other
I knew it before I read the comments, somebody is going to say it needs a x-pipe 🙄
…well it does
@@yourpappy1767 You're right. Hotrodders have been running true duals for ages
@@yourpappy1767 They don’t need x pipes or h pipes but a crossover sounds MUCH better than true duals and makes slightly more power
