I just picked one up at a pawn shop new for $80. Figured it would make a great protector to keep the honest man out, but definetly don't expect to put super duper valuables in it.
Not sure if you run into the same issue but my lifepod won’t open due to vacuum created when flying. I ended up damaging my exterior from prying it open with a pocket knife. How did you solve this?
Wow, that's the first I've heard of it sealing up because of flying like that. Mine seems to be fine... Maybe an O ring issue? You could also hit up Vaultek customer service and see what they have to say.
It *should* fit a G19 with a red dot since it fits full sized guns without an issue. It won't fit full sized pistols with optics, but I think a G19 would work. You might want to email Vaultek directly just to double check though.
Yes, that is correct. The 2.0 is quite a bit larger than the 1.0. One easy way to tell the difference is the 1.0 will basically hold a single gun, while the 2.0 will hold 2+ guns. This one is good for traveling because it's small and relatively light. The 2.0 would be better for more a stationary location.

Yep, pretty much.

Will it fill a Glock 19 mos with red dot and magazine still in the gun?

Just confirming, this is the LifePod “1.0” size not the 2.0 right?

@@TheWarriorSolution Sweet, thank you. Yeah i like the size of this one, the 2.0 just seems a bit too much for hauling around.
Note to self: Let 'Santa' know about this one.
