she had no idea that the catalytic converter is welded shut underneath the vehicle and it requires tools and some effort to steal it. She took the woman politician's words at face value that Toyota made it super easy to steal. This is a clear example of people that are asleep and believe everything they hear from the news or an authority figure. She assumed you could just walk next to a car and quickly snap off the catalytic converter like a Mercedes Benz star.
This woman really didn't get the whole chick think. Adam was hoping she would agree the Toyota thing was crazy and she responded Toyota should probably do more to prevent thefts thus perfectly displaying chick think.
Lol. It was kinda driving me nuts. She really didn't get it. To be fair, I think she was actually trying to get on board with Adam, but literally couldn't understand the point he was trying to make 😂
Look at that Parino guy that fills in and opens up for him…. As much as I like Adam, I’m convinced he zeros In on people less funny than him for the most part. He likes that “I’m the boss” thing
Catalytic converters exist because of California emission standards, if we get rid of those then Toyota won’t have to put them in and they won’t get stolen. Problem solved
Sounds reasonable except that in the 70’s you could hardly breath, the SFV was unbearable, and your eyes would burn like crazy. Hard to admit, but if you were here back then, it’s easy to see that the air quality is much better today.
Sweeping the dirt under the rug doesn’t make your house clean. How much industry has been created (mining, construction, transportation, processing, manufacturing) just to make cars mostly out of plastic that are garbage and unable to be recycled but I can find a 1930s car sitting for 60 years and get the engine started in about an hour…but good thing we got those kids in the platinum mines to make us feel good while we skip down the sidewalk sucking our lollipop.
Adam, really appreciate these early uploads. They're always on time for my early morning commutes. The drive is much more bearable with the Ace Man pontificating on random topics. Get it on🙏
Patrick in sitcom Rules of Engagement was some of his best work. I watch that show before bed every night and his characters wife (Audrey Bingham) is the perfect woman in my opinion. She reminds me of my first wife.
Yah….but what’s her name last week was actually pretty good. She held her own and was self aware enough to know when and how to be deferential. I’d be cool with her coming on more regularly.
Adam thanks for having David Puddy on and speaking the truth. The country always needs more David Puddy and the truth!!!!!!!!!!! Patrick and Alexis were great too!!!
I worked as a firefighter/paramedic after 27 years and also had a successful multi million dollar business that whole time I retired at 47 with a 90% salary for the rest of my life along with free healthcare on top of that. Afterwords I bought a huge house on a golf course in Texas with cash that’s tripled in value. I would STILL be working if I didn’t have to retire because I was facing a life or death battle with cancer. Retirement was already wearing thin after 6 months so I started another huge business and my wife that’s 12 years my junior are trying to start a family. I’m only 54
Lived in PHX Arizona for years. Bought tickets to many great performers I wanted to see. Phoenix became the date you cancelled before performing in L.A. "exhaustion" , "throat infection", "lost equipment/logistics" it all happened. Pretty frustrating. Saw a lot of bands on the way up.... fewer big bands once they hit.
I came up with a solution for the California traffic in the '70s. Nobody listened to me. Thought about ending my comment there... But I might as well while I'm here, make all the freeways one way. So for instance the 10 lanes of 280 could be changed into 12 lanes and they all go north. Then you build another 280 directly on top of that one that goes south. You don't have to requisition land you just build bridges that go for a hundred miles at a time with on and off ramps. Not only would it put a major dent in the traffic problems, but you would put people to work for decades.
Some of us want to retire at 65 because we worked as a millwright, roofer, or "roughneck" on an oil rig, etc.... for 40- 50 years. I Can't wait to retire so I can finally relax and stop being so hard on my body and spend my time doing things I enjoy and have dreamed about doing for decades but have never been able to due to responsibility to my family and circumstances of life. Please don't propagate a circumstance Where I will have to work more of my life way just to benefit some corporation. All of us don't have jobs that are fulfilling, and that we enjoy doing but they are necessary for modern society to exist. (ie. Garbage men Postal workers linemen, etc...) Glad you love your job, but have a little empathy bud.
I like this comment. My dad was a lineman for 42 years. It paid well but was hard and exhausting work. I can’t imagine him doing that any longer than he did.
Edmund Fitzgerald was the president of Northwestern Mutual. The ship named after him, was an investment for the policyholders. He was quite devastated upon hearing the news of the ship's sinking.
I hated that song when I was a kid the 70s station. My mom listened to played it all the freaking time. Then one year, the sinking of the Edmond Fitzgerald was the topic used for reading and compression portion of the I Step test. My teacher had no clue how I could finish it that fast but I knew every last detail because of the song . Now it's a fond memory of my 90s childhood and I appreciate the beauty of the song .
I dislike when Adam talks about firefighters because he always gets it wrong. I'm a 48 year old firefighter. There is a huge difference between a lawyer who sits on his ass for the majority of his career and a firefighter who is actively doing physical work. Despite what people think they know about firefighters we don't sit around all day. Here is a normal 24hr shift for me. 0630 arrive at work 0630-0800 check all equipment on fire engine including all medical drugs and supplies. 0800-0900 run medical call. 0900-1000 clean entire fire station (sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, bathrooms, ect...)1000-1100 workout. 1100-1200 run medical call. 1200-1230 lunch. 1230-1330 run motor vehicle accident call. 1330-1500 drill (pull hose off truck and run out both offensive and defensive lines, open and connect hydrant to truck, practice hydraulics for pumping, climb roof for practice ventilation. 1500-1600 run call on dumpster fire. 1600-1700 decon and clean equipment, hoses, turnouts, fill scba bottles. 1700-1800 shop for dinner. 1800-1900 eat dinner. 1900- 2000 run medical call. 2000 no more assigned tasks but between. 2000 and 0600 will still run between 5 and 7 more calls per average number of calls per shift which is 11.6 per shift.
What Adam said about short people lifting weights is something that isn’t mentioned enough. People often only focus on the number of weight without considering height differences.
Adam, You have to explain to this beautiful young comic what the term “cruising” means as it relates to the gay fellas. She’s thinking “Happy Days” and “American Graffiti” cruising. So Prigo, is that Italian or Greek?
Quit having these sensitive chicks that you have to tiptoe around questions with so they’re not offended 🤮 Waste of a show Ace. At least you were diverse 😂
While I can’t speak to Mr. Di Neros intelligence and I don’t care for his unfortunate comments about President Trump, he is truly a very nice and polite man.

He got a lot of mileage out of it but it definitely stalled out with her. This was an example of when you have no chemistry with a guest.

@@Coffinhunter77that it did.... I couldn't believe she was like "so is Toyota fixing it?"

It only confirms the term "chick-think" when Adam has to explain to his lady guest sidekick that Toyota is not responsible for street crime.
These young nobody comedians just don't have anything to add to the show?
It was impressive 😂
So awkward!
I've learned the chick shows are sub par
She didn't understand one God dang thing he said about chic think......but nice smile
This woman really didn't get the whole chick think. Adam was hoping she would agree the Toyota thing was crazy and she responded Toyota should probably do more to prevent thefts thus perfectly displaying chick think.

Well. She is a chick to be fair
Exactly. That was painful. She's exactly the audience for that stupid politician.
She just doesn't know what the part is, so she wasn't following from the beginning
Alexis and Adam have chemistry. Like ammonia and bleach.
Lol
This deserves so many more likes.
I'm guessing it doesn't have more because people don't get it
It’s funny ‘cause it’s true lmao
Phew so it’s not just me! She’s not on the same page and doesn’t get what’s going on.
The "Chick-Think" bit doesn't work with someone who does 50% "Chick-Think"
Ace specializes in clueless, unfunny comedians. She's as amusing as a hernia. Thank goodness for Patrick.
It’s as if he saw a random person at the mall and asked her to stand in for someone who couldn’t make it. Awkward.

Brock Sampson on The Venture Bros.

I’m reminded once again that very attractive women are not able to be funny.
Even podcasts like Joe rogan. If it's a chick guest I don't even bother unless it's like Rosanne or someone similar...
I think he's auditioning.
“Rules of engagement “ great show.
Adam thanks for having David Puddy on and speaking the truth. The country always needs more David Puddy and the truth!!!!!!!!!!! Patrick and Alexis were great too!!!
I knew we couldn’t get through one show without Adam bringing up Jimmy Kimmel’s name 🤦♂️
Jimmy probably rides Adam like a human horse when he visits. Like the human furniture thing lol
Hell yeah, im from HB, that was an awesome knock on the community colleges. It's always fun when you can really relate with the guest. 😊
I agree whole-heartedly with Adam's opinion on Springsteen"s music.
I remember roof jumping in portsmouth NH what a blast 😅
