Kyle is the only auto reviewer I’ve seen - either on UA-cam or TV - who does a thorough review of the rear passenger compartment. I appreciate that. I want to know if my passengers back there will be comfortable, too.
I'm sick of so much people saying range rovers are so "unreliable" if you can afford a SUV like this im sure maintenance is at the back of the cerebrum and the people that complain it's "unreliable" is the ones that can't afford this SUV

First of all they are unreliable because I had a 2014 Range Rover and it messed up now I have a 2016 Lexus lx 570 and I haven’t had any problems with it

Exactly. There is no reason looking for a luxury car if you can barely afford your Honda Pilot monthly payment. It's as simple as that.
I hate the lag on those LCD instrument clusters, they look horrid, fake and cannot compete with proper analogue dials.

I am blown away. I thought I liked my 2015 Cadillac Escalade a lot, but this Range Rover take luxury to a new level.
Until 24:30 it was my dream car .The sunroof cloth that hangs on top of rear passengers is not what I've expected from a premium SUV

Those who think that the new range rovers are the most unreliable car ever, shut up. The new Range Rovers are 100x more reliable than they used to be. The reason why Range Rovers were so unreliable is because before 2013, Range Rover hired members of the Union to make their cars. The union workers sabotaged the cars, and land rovers were horrible. Now, Tata motors fired the union workers, and now Land Rovers are called best luxury cars of the year. Stop with the Range Rover stereotypes, it is time to let it go.

Alecmartin01 if you regularly maintain your automobile (and maintain it well, which most people don’t especially if they live in areas where there’s either road salt or humid air temperatures), it shall keep going for a long long time.
Alecmartin01 Im glad you sent this message out ... now I understand it better..... I just traded in my 2012 RR HSE and got a 2016 SUpecharged and wow!!!! My wife and I drove our new truck all day and felt as if we just owned a plane !! We love the new body style .... RR goes “above and beyond”

Kyle you are definitely the master and founder of in depth tours and reviews! It would be nice to hear you mention the price of the vehicle with all the options as the one you're reviewing. I would also like to request for you to do maybe a 2005-2009 mustang or even just older cars in general for those looking to buy a used vehicle but can't find a good review on the internet. That being said you're doing a superb job, keep up the great work!

Housebeats101 German cars are good for curing insomnia but not much else. Unless it's a 911 Turbo I'd go for something a little more interesting. Alfa Romeo's for example, half the fun of owning one is knowing it could breakdown at any time...

Captain Cocoa Puffs 3 people at my work own Land Rover's and they haven't had any problems whatsoever. The chronic unreliability that Land Rovers were known for is a thing of the past...

This is a real beauty. But that sunshade is exactly why i would consider the LX570 and GL-Class first lol.
It's only a faulty sunshade. Any new car can have tiny issues like that. The fact is, that if you get a new Range Rover and that was an issue, you can be very sure Land Rover will fix it right away. My personal experience with Merc? Not so sure it would be as easy. Besides, the RR is in a bit of a different league than the others. Both the GL and LX are nice, but they seem a bit "meh" by comparison. But of course, price is different too.

Though I'm not a fan of Range Rover, this vehicle is brilliantly made. So much detail put into this vehicle and I see how you'd say that their attention to detail is comparable to Jaguar and Bentley! #impeccable Great video! Great job to Range Rover!

I use the same type, it guzzles fuel and is difficult to park in London, but its easy to drive, comfortable and reliable, you can also see above the traffic, an advantage in London.

What a truly amazing SUV. The best features, styling, ride, handling and the overall feeling of being king of the road. I'd lease one though, too much shit goes wrong with these. They're great when they work but a horror story on wheels when they don't.

What bugs me is that some companies like Rolls Royce make German-British hybrid luxury cars. Even though Land Rover is owned by Tata motors, Land Rover is pure British.

The reason why they are not spacious is because this is the standard wheelbase model, not the long wheelbase model.

Range Rovers are one of the best luxury SUVs on the plant. However, the maintenance and upkeep will kill you. An Escalade will likely be a much cheaper car to own and maintain, and probably cheaper to buy too.

But there is the price difference and a size difference. To really compare you would haft to go with the GL class

My one's alright, and stop with the stereotypes, compared to the last generation they have improved reliability wise, massively. However saying that even a samsung phone dropped in lava was more reliable than an old range rover.

Tyger Voods When my grandparents had one, it was always in the repair shop, they bought it from new too, and (not sure what it's like in the US or anywhere else) but the service in the UK is beyond crap. The engine is good, interior quality is good, but reliability wise and service ways, it wasn't good at all.
This is a BEAST of an SUV. I've spent some time building different ones on the website. If I had $150k and was in the market for an SUV, this would be IT. HAAAAAATE that screen for the gauges though. Give me analog any day, but I could probably get used to it.
WAYMENT. Just saw the hanging sunshade. That's a DEALBREAKER.
I think for a luxo-barge SUV, it would come down to this and a Porsche Cayenne.

Pat Dow I guess each to their own... I have a 2014 SRT8 with uConnect, and my brother has the 2014 Range Rover Autobiograhy... The display in his Range Rover shits all over mine... The display is crisp, and a cool feature is how the front passenger can watch tv or dvd, while the driver is looking at Satnav or cameras or whatever... You really should go see one for yourself man, you will be amazed at how awesome these trucks are... In saying that, we live in New Zealand... My car Brand New with Top Spec cost me $92,000.00... My brothers Range Rover cost him $235,000.00... So I'm not surprised his truck is way better than my car...
everything about this car is amazing .. until I seen the sun shade. that really shocked knowing even some low end SUVs got panoramic roofs that hids it away but other wise excellent vehicle , excellent review.

to be honest, all these are reviews are very good and interesting and helpful. But at the end of the day, il drive anything as long as its not a BMW. because every car has its faults, but the is just 1 fault with bmws. And thats everything! but love the Range Rover though, perfect car in my eyes.

Such little rear legroom for a big car. And even though the car looks nice the build quality is awful. This is little more than a status symbol now, it doesn't feel like a proper off-road Range Rover anymore.
Really now? We just took delivery of our '14 SDV8 RR 4 months ago. It drives better than any of our previous RR's on AND offroad. Btw. we did not have a single major issue with our previous 2 RR's in a time period over 12 years. What is your personal owner experience with the current or previous generation Range Rovers?
The build quality in the car is fantastic. They use real wood and everything is covered in leather. Jaguar do the same thing. You barely see any plastic showing. This is different to most american cars where they just have the cheap plastic on display and everything is mass produced where as in this car certain afforded are built by a human. The hand stitched leather for example.
Even a standard Range Rover is build like a brick house. It makes sense since the whole point of the car is to be an offroader. Not only is it one of the best you can buy but they made it a luxurious car too. Impressively so.
If you are referring to the squeaks in the interior or leaking sunrood that people talk about, then thats just bad engineering. I've been in a few L322 Range Rovers and they have all been solid. Nothing is cheap on them. If you wanna talk cheap build quality look at cars like Dodge caliber, Hyundai accent, etc.

And with regard to feeling cheap for a lot of money? Nothing beats the Escalade at that. It's expensive while feeling more cheap and sleazy than just about anything.
How would you know the reliability of a car that JUST came out? This is a new generation and the build quality seems top notch from videos.

Absolutely stunning to look at, except for that sunshade. For as much as a Range Rover Autobiography costs, they should've had that fixed before it even left the factory. Could be worse though: could be a GM product!

They killed the interior and I mean that in a good way, yet that sunshade actually made me laugh. I would love to really spend some time listening to that Meridian sound system. Well done Land Rover, I am not nor have I ever been an SUV or off road guy but I would own one of those in a heartbeat and the price is not bad for what you get. The 911 is on my short list and a very different vehicle.
I don't know if you know this but you don't have to hold the start button down, just press it down and keep your foot on the break. You don't have to press and hold.
it's a nice car.......but i was thinking that the RR can do better on the 360 degrees bird-view camera. My Infiniti JX35 is still on top of the list on that.
Is there a benefit of having a digital cluster over the regular ones? Is it more accurate? I kind of like the regular ones with a digital screen in the middle of the speedometer and rpm
