Masafumi Takada is a musical genius, with every DR game I thought "surely he can't top the last game's soundtrack" and then I heard this. Easily my favourite investigation theme, all three are brilliant but the mood of this one just fits so well
I'm mostly alone in thinking this i think but Box 15 is like top 3 songs in the series for me, something about how it passes melodies back and forth between the different sections hits my brain just right
It really has a noir vibe, and I love it. It's not as hype as Box 15, nor as high energy as Ikoroshia, but it really fits the kind of oppressive and somber mood the pervades the entire game.
Everybody talks about how this is clearly the ultimate detective’s theme because of how chill it is, which I mostly agree with. However, during the first investigation while I was still playing as Kaede, it felt quite the opposite for me. The first minute or so felt so unsettling and I couldn’t put my finger on why. Looking back I sort of read it as a musical interpretation of Kaede’s brain starting to fizzle as she fully realizes what she’s done and has only a few short hours before her death, and the first hint that she is the blackened (to her knowledge).
*Sayaka making noises with the microphone* *Nagito playing the saxophone* *Ibuki playing the electric guitar* *Leon playing the guitar* *Kaede playing the piano* *Chiaki tapping the symbol* *Hiyoko dancing to the music* *Shuichi rapping sick beats*
It’s been a little over 3 years since I played this. First game I ever preordered, played the demo, love the Danganronpa series and was looking forward to it so much. What an experience DRV3 was. Some dislike the ending, but I like it for what it is. This track is one of my fav in the series, it feels like something you’d hear on the Orient Express :P. I really hope we get a sequel to DRV3 one day!!!
bruh the fandoms opinion on everything about this game is weird. Like is every aspect of it garbage or is it the best in the series????? even in this comment section ive seen people saying its the best and people saying its the worst investivation theme. anyways, this is a bop. It also fits perfectly with the game's vibe of being more polished and seeming mysteriously futuristic.
well i think people are just sad that this was used for the corpses of their favorite characters, that's why they hate this song...i think, but i love this song, but i'm sad that: *Miu died*
I mean, every fandom is gonna have different opinions on things, it's not that weird. I never understood grouping a fanbase together as if they're one person who can't make up their mind about what they think of something.

I feel like the investigation themes really fit their respective games. DR2's my favorite game, so I'm probably biased when I say Homicide is the best investigation theme. However, Despair Searching in itself is really good too, and fits the whole atmosphere of the game and the protagonist.
I saw some comments about how they think this track is made for Shuichi and honestly, it could be but just look at this really quick: Kyoko - DISTRUST plays whenever she opens her mouth Shuichi - Living in A Lazy Parallel World plays whenever she opens her mouth Kyoko - Ultimate Detective Shuichi - Ultimate Detective If that’s not enough reasoning here’s my best: If you listen closely, Distrust & LIALPW kinda sounds the same. And it’s like LIALPW is a remix of it, yk? Anyway even if this is his theme idrc, Both this song is LIALPW is a nice bop
I think it’s finally climbed up as my favorite investigation track of the trilogy. It’s not as hype-inducing as the other 2 were, but I still like it nonetheless.
this track sounds like a heavily modified box 15, it has some very similar melody progression and too many similarities for it not to be related somehow 🤔
Conversations That Bring Life We laugh and we suffer. We offer encouragement and express concerns. We agree and debate. We communicate to complete tasks and coordinate schedules. We talk and make plans. We contemplate life together. Conversations are a part of life and each interaction is as unique as the person we are talking to. In the book of Colossians, Paul and Timothy advised Christians to live wisely, especially among non-Christians, and make the most of every opportunity (Colossians 4:5). They keep saying: “Let your word always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to respond to each one.” Colossians 4:6 KJV That sounds good, but what does it really mean to be “with grace” and “seasoned with salt”? Always with grace. Grace is a free and undeserved gift. So even if someone is difficult or disagrees with our opinions, we can still communicate with kindness and respect. Just as we want others to be kind to us in conversations, we should also be kind to them. Grace demonstrates unconditional kindness, and so can we. Seasoned with salt. Salt is an essential mineral, used for preservation and seasoning. As followers of Christ, we are compelled by His love to be living preservers of His history as we passionately share His message. Our conversations don't have to be "without salt," we can use our God-given personality to draw others into His love. Does this mean that we should be people who seek to please others full-time? Or that we will have all the answers? Of course not. But as 1 Peter 3:15-16 says, “But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be prepared to respond to anyone who asks for a reason for the hope that you have. However, do this with meekness and respect." (NIV) It's not just what we say, but how we say it. And in our daily conversations, we can honor Christ by speaking intentionally and with grace. So today, when people avoid a conversation with you, consider how you can honor them and point them to Jesus. Is there anything that is holding you back from being a “full of grace” and “seasoned with salt” person?
At first I thought this was so bad compared to the other investigation themes but now I kind of like it. Still not as good as the others but it’s not bad

Conversations That Bring Life
We laugh and we suffer. We offer encouragement and express concerns. We agree and debate. We communicate to complete tasks and coordinate schedules. We talk and make plans. We contemplate life together.

“Let your word always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to respond to each one.”
Colossians 4:6 KJV
