This is not a spoiler, but did you know Kaede played the Japanese Dub for Anna in Frozen, and Rantaro ( sorry if I spelled the names wrong) plays Ioto in Diabolic Lovers. Kaede also sang the Opening song Dead or Lie for Danganronpa 3: Future Arc
Apparently Kodaka picked her for Kaede not only because of her bands involvement and past voice acting but I guess she’s a huge fan of the series herself (I think...)

Sort of. The way they work is that the "Moderato" version plays for the first 4 cases' investigations, and the "Allegro" version plays for the last 2 cases' investigations.
Pretty much, except that both are allegro, not just one; the only difference is the instrumentation. Hence why people can make mashups of both versions relatively easily.
But the music theory (If you can even call it that, they are just musical terms for tempo, not everything is music theory) is still applicable to Ace Attorney, but not this. In Ace Attorney they change to a faster tempo when changing to Allegro, which makes sense, but in Danganronpa they stay the same, so it's not applicable. A better comparison would be the Calm/Ablaze ost system from 3DS Fire Emblem.
Ah... I see. The more you know... Thanks for telling me that. Despair searching is one of my all time favorite investigation themes. It's completely solemn and made me feel like I was actually investigating a grisly crime. No hate on the other themes though! All of Danganronpa osts are incredible.

I love them all, but Hope Searching gives me flashbacks of the time where I broke the game and was stuck in the classroom with the Flashback Lights and couldn't leave until Keebo blew everything up.
They just keep getting better! I like Box 15/16 because they fit the atmosphere of THH very well. I/Ekoroshia get me in the mood to investigate. Despair/Hope Searching pump me up for a class trial. But overall, Box 16, Hope Searching and Ekoroshia are my favorites. I live for final investigation themes!
I really love Ekoroshia, it's my favorite one, but every time I hear it, I feel an insane hatred for Komaeda and all the things he's done, but the music just gets more epic because of these feelings
I love your videos, the interface with the annotations is absolutely brilliant and the audio is high-quality. Plus, these are all the soundtracks from games that I love! Thank you so much! :)
Out of Box 15, Ikoroshia and Despair Searching, Despair Searching has got to be my favourite (I mean those drumssssss) but out of Box 16, Ekoroshia and Hope Searching, Ekoroshia completely shits on the others lmao
Tahseen Khan Ekoroshia is really good, but musically it’s just not as interesting as the other two. It’s only the fact it comes in 2-5, the best chapter in the series, that makes people love it as much as they do, IMO. Out of context it’s definitely the one of the three I would least want to listen to.
The hype version of the investigation theme in the games is always amazing lmao. Just gives you pure "Holy shit this is it" vibes Box 16's all around hype Ekoroshina/Kill command's opening guitar riff and the different sections of the theme
my desk chair makes metal clicky sounds which are the same notes as the first two notes of the first investigation theme. so basically I'm never gonna get that song out of my head until I get rid of this chair.
Kodaka: Hey Takada, don't go that hard on the Nagito's investigation song, it should be normal like the rest, got it? Takada: Got it! **completely ignores Kodaka**
1000th comment. Btw Mukuro Ikusaba. The sixteenth student, lying hidden somewhere in this school. The one they call the Ultimate Despair. Watch out for her.
The bass in Despair Searching in Programworld is absolutely incredible and deserves to be talked about more. It honestly makes the track one of my favourites of any of the investigation themes. I'd be perfectly happy if it was the default theme.
Wouldn't that be cool if The creator of Danganronpa redid the first two games with the scrum debate? Of course it cost a crap-ton. But still. That would be amazing.
AA's trial themes are better than their investigation themes usually, but in DR it tends to flip the other way 1) Box 16 2) Ekoroshia 3) Despair Searching 4) Hope Searching 5) Ikoroshia 6) Box 15
It was cool to see Mukuro and Naegi to share something between them in IF As well as our ones in DR2. They seemed stronger to me, they were like real people but they were so much more sinister as well As was it to see how everyone - especially Kaede -changes Shuichi in 3 and helps him grow
Ekoroshia's english name is Kill Command, it is the 55th song on the soundtrack. Kill command is a programing term, I believe it deletes a program? The number on the back of Ko's jacket is 55.
I love the way all these songs start. Box 15 starts with nothing but the cowbell, one your friends just died, but then when the rest of the instrument kick in. There's no time to grief. It's time to search for clue. In Ikoroshia the beginning has more instruments than the last one but still a small amount. You knew one of us was gonna die, there wouldn't be a game if it weren't the case, but someone still died. So you can't help but be sad. But there's never time to grief. Let's find clues. And with Despair Searching it jumps straight into it. No moments of silence with a cowbell sprinkled in. No nothing. You know it was coming, so jump straight into the investigation like the song. But you're never desensitized to death, no one ever is, so the song is slow and calm. You're searching for clues but the the death of your fallen friend is still in your mind. It's always been in your mind, no matter the game. And when shit hits the fan, the guitars join in.
SPOILERS FOR DR2 TRIAL 5 Well yeah it fits him perfectly. The theme is intense, chaotic, and kind of twisted sounding in some parts, fitting extremely well with the case. Nagito was brutally murdered and had a gory chaotic death due to the panic from his bomb threat, the fire, and eventually the poison. His plan also goes along with the chaotic vibe because he literally based it on his talent, luck, which obviously doesn't have logic to it. It fits him, his murder, and his goals perfectly.
@@sky.nanami7 I mean, by the rules of the game, he was killed by someone, as the end of the trial shows. It was a very elaborate murder framed to look like suicide, and technically was a suicide, but at the end of the day, another person had to be involved to kill him.
My top 3 favourites 1.Despair searching(It gives me that intense bop to it for some reason, amd it’s my favourite discovery theme lol) 2.Ekoroshia(Not gonna lie, this theme suits Komaeda so well) 3.Box16(Just a nice rhythm, love it) These three I would listen for 24/7 if I have the chance too.
In my opinion, danganronpa is one of the games with the best soundtrack, even tho it's sometimes weird (for example the executions) but all other themes are incredible

Could not have put it better myself.
Also maybe because you like heavy music in general. That's my case for liking the final investigation themes
just read the description and am slightly chuckling to myself from the first paragraph
Ikoroshia gotta be the best one. The tropical vibe mixed with the dark investigation theme just hit different.
Ekoroshia is cool too but it feels kinda goofy like I'm trynna investigate not jam out
I really love Ekoroshia, it's my favorite one, but every time I hear it, I feel an insane hatred for Komaeda and all the things he's done, but the music just gets more epic because of these feelings
Nagito did nothing wrong

THE ELECTRO GUITAR ON EVERY FINAL INVESTIGATION HITS SOOO DIFFERENT OMG
I love your videos, the interface with the annotations is absolutely brilliant and the audio is high-quality. Plus, these are all the soundtracks from games that I love! Thank you so much! :)
Out of Box 15, Ikoroshia and Despair Searching, Despair Searching has got to be my favourite (I mean those drumssssss) but out of Box 16, Ekoroshia and Hope Searching, Ekoroshia completely shits on the others lmao
Spectral Nexus I believe what you've stated is not a matter of opinion.
It is fact, sir.
(Jk but that's how I feel too)
Tahseen Khan Ekoroshia is really good, but musically it’s just not as interesting as the other two. It’s only the fact it comes in 2-5, the best chapter in the series, that makes people love it as much as they do, IMO. Out of context it’s definitely the one of the three I would least want to listen to.
@@jordandwiggins1026
Exactly. This is why I like Hope Searching more. It has so, many, parts, all playing at the same time. It's wonderful.
The hype version of the investigation theme in the games is always amazing lmao. Just gives you pure "Holy shit this is it" vibes
Box 16's all around hype
Ekoroshina/Kill command's opening guitar riff and the different sections of the theme
1. Ekoroshia, duuh.
2. Hope searching
3. Box 16
4. Despair Searching
5. Ikoroshia
6. Box 15
I think you forgot a space.
Paco Cruz ... Sorry but I don’t see what’s wrong
wtf man how you could place box 15 so low
Mine is literally the exact opposite almost
1. Despair searching
2. Box 15
3. Ikoroshia
4. Ekoroshia
5. Despair searching
6. Box 16
I love how hope searching gives you the feeling of “what the fuck is going on how are we going to solve this” and just general confusion
box 15 is the song that made me fall in love with the dr soundtrack....still the best
my desk chair makes metal clicky sounds which are the same notes as the first two notes of the first investigation theme. so basically I'm never gonna get that song out of my head until I get rid of this chair.
personal fav is despair searching, honestly feels like it's the most "investigatey"
still they're all good
Featured in the first parts of the video: A hope egg, and the two ultra-sharp ladies who've fallen for him.
Kodaka: Hey Takada, don't go that hard on the Nagito's investigation song, it should be normal like the rest, got it?
Takada: Got it! **completely ignores Kodaka**
Despair searching goes hard.
That trumpet is my favorite part.
I love when there is love for the bass 😝
The bass line in the climax reasoning makes the piece too!
goddamn.... DESPAIR SEARCHING IS MMMMMMMM sO damn good...... i love 'em all tho. they are all classics.
Wouldn't that be cool if The creator of Danganronpa redid the first two games with the scrum debate? Of course it cost a crap-ton. But still. That would be amazing.
I like how mukuro is just casually pointing her gun at naegi
“Don’t worry, Naegi-kun! It’s only rubber bullets!”

LOVE LOVE LOVE Ekoroshia so much. Nagito's greatest gift of all.
Ten years later and Box 15 is still as awesome

Play the music, investigation start!
Dika Adhitama i actually did this yesterday, my sides are burning with laughter
Truth bullet obtained ”random-ass letter in the middle of line 72”
Gonta: gonta can help with bug!
I love all of these, but Box 15 still slaps me to my core to this day.
This was the first time in years I heard Box 15 and 16 again. I forgot all about those. But damn, Ekoroshia? That one I will never forget.
AA's trial themes are better than their investigation themes usually, but in DR it tends to flip the other way
1) Box 16
2) Ekoroshia
3) Despair Searching
4) Hope Searching
5) Ikoroshia
6) Box 15
*Hajime casually sits on Nagito on Ekoroshia*
It was cool to see Mukuro and Naegi to share something between them in IF
As well as our ones in DR2. They seemed stronger to me, they were like real people but they were so much more sinister as well
As was it to see how everyone - especially Kaede -changes Shuichi in 3 and helps him grow
wouldnt be mad if ekoroshia played while my murder was being investigated
ekoroshia just hits different bro
And when shit hits the fan, the guitars join in.
ekoroshia and ikoroshia 8 bit bug is too GOOD
1. Box 15, Box 16, Ikoroshia, Ekoroshia, Despair Searching, Hope Searching, Despair Searching In ProgramWorld
2. Ikoroshia 16-bit
3.Ikoroshia 8-bit bug
lol that character choice for v3
in hindsight that was a pretty good choice
Ekoroshia will always be my favorite investigation theme out of them all

I must say, I’ve never heard a more unique way of saying “this part of the song is really good.” Which I agree with by the way.
Jokes on you, IAM ALLERGIC TO CHOCOLATE!
Your comment confused me for a good minute
Oh yes 😋
Is it possible that you have synesthesia?
THEY’RE ALL BANGERS OMG
Ekoroshia makes me want to cry and rock out at the same time.
Box 16 just hits different
ekoroshia feels like such a komaeda theme
SPOILERS FOR DR2 TRIAL 5
Well yeah it fits him perfectly.
@@thebrightstartt9294he suicided
@@sky.nanami7 I mean, by the rules of the game, he was killed by someone, as the end of the trial shows. It was a very elaborate murder framed to look like suicide, and technically was a suicide, but at the end of the day, another person had to be involved to kill him.
@@thebrightstartt9294yeah but it was his plan so it was technically a suicide?
@@thebrightstartt9294 I love him I would do the same if I was him ngl it's sucha perfect way to pick the traitor out
My top 3 favourites
1.Despair searching(It gives me that intense bop to it for some reason, amd it’s my favourite discovery theme lol)
2.Ekoroshia(Not gonna lie, this theme suits Komaeda so well)
3.Box16(Just a nice rhythm, love it)
These three I would listen for 24/7 if I have the chance too.
i wish i could experience these themes for the first time again
ME TOOO
Imagine trying to figure out who the cuprit is while monokuma played this on the speaker
I don't have to imagine, I have 3 whole games where I do just that.
In my opinion, danganronpa is one of the games with the best soundtrack, even tho it's sometimes weird (for example the executions) but all other themes are incredible

Danganronpa 1: 📦
I like how Ikoroshia from DR2 is a reprise of Box 15 from DR:THH. They both share a distinct theme or leitmotif in the game, while one presents itself as nostalgic.
"Keade and Rantaro seem to be important characters."
Me: (:
If they died early it doesn't mean they are not important!!
I never said they weren't important. Infract they are some of the most important characters in the game.
@@kingkat4 oh, right... It seems I misunderstood, sorry.
Really love how there’s an equivalent to a normal investigation theme and a “core” investigation theme, for those who enjoy AA.
I love aa it introduced me to danganronpa
why do these songs have to slap so hard. im tryna bust a case not bust a move

Love to hear a mix of all three investigation themes. I already imagine the beat of Ikoroshia in Despair Searching...
it stated all when one of my friends suggested me to install amino, he found a guy who played danganronpa and at first i was like what is this shit here i am now 6 years later i played all the 3 important games and i wanna say what is this shit
