I'm currently filling out my application for a hospice center and I'm always looking for new books to read in the field. Glad to add a new one to the list.......also in the most respectful way, you look banging in this video.
Wow! Someone who isn’t showing the same books as literally every other channel! I like nonfiction, so I will definitely check out the political book you mentioned and Hurricane Wars sounds good!
I'm going to be book shopping Tuesday and might pick up all the living and the dead. I sometimes think about going into hospice social work once I've got my LCSW and that seems like a good book to read.
I think I kind of want authors to stop telling us what books are based on. I get that some people just know about it because they knew the author *before* but I just want books and authors to stand on their own. I don't need to know their process. It gives readers preconceptions before they even pick up the book and they'll look for THOSE things and how the author included them. I appreciate the nonfiction suggestions! I too have been liking nonfiction on audiobook lately!
I really liked the hurricane wars, I loved the description of the Island, and i read that she created it to be like the Philippines, and that made so much sense to me. You can tell it was her first novel but I am excited to see what book two shows us.
I like the world of the Hurricane wars but the whole political marriage thing threw me off and the political talks were in every scene. Very repetitive and wished the plot would have some more action and development.
