I have never had this pour before. It is very light and drank like a beginners bourbon. I would purchase one at msrp but would never pay those crazy secondary prices. Glad I got to try it. Thanks!! Cheers
If I were given this blind, I would immediately guess Irish. It has all the notes that I get from Irish whiskey… pears, floral, white sugar. I’ve actually seen more of these than I have of Elmer. Noting bad about this at all, just would never ever pay the three digit price tag on secondary. Thanks for sharing this one!!
I've never had this either. And I agree, there's not enough there on the palate. I liked the nose a lot, but was let down on the palate. Goes to show you you don't have to chase the highly allocated stuff. Thanks Lance. Merry Christmas
I was able to share this with a non bourbon person who said they actually thought it was pretty decent. I don't disagree. Very light, but tasty. Wouldn't pay a whole lot for it, but is a nice, light bourbon

I was close from your description but I guessed Elmer T. Lee instead. I haven't ever seen the Hancock.
