      @@candicegerman2748 why don't people just buy cake ingredients and then make a cake that looks like a professional did it at a 5 star restaurant their first try. That's because the ingredients is the least important part. your not paying for the ingredients. your paying for the formulation from certified chemists that they have patented. If it were that easy businesses would have no competition because everyone would just read ingredients on the back of a product and be able to perfectly replicate what someone did. your comment is silly.

    Interested to know in what order you use your products. Do you use the P50 and the texture reform every night together or do you alternate?

    • @halliegould6048
      @halliegould6048 5 років тому

      I don't use them together! I was instructed by a few derms and estheticians not to, so I switch off based on what my skin needs (or use P50 in the morning and retinol only a few nights a week).

    How often do you use the P50 per week? After that step do you just put moisturizer ? Like no other acids or anything since it’s so strong. Thank you!

    • @halliegould6048
      @halliegould6048 5 років тому +5

      Hey! I go into it in more detail here: www.byrdie.com/skincare-product-reviews but basically the gist is this: I use P50 twice a day (per a recommendation from the facialist that first introduced me to the product). It is strong, though, so many people will use it only a few times a week or dilute the solution with water on the cotton pad. There's also an iteration meant specifically for sensitive skin.

    • @addicted183
      @addicted183 5 років тому +2

      I only use it at night. I think twice a day is too much plus acids and sun don't bode well so if you apply it in the morning make sure to wait at least 15-20 mins to avoid irritations.

    Lotion p50 won’t ship to Canada. I’ve been waiting two years and still they don’t ship it. Anyone know how to get it into Canada or through someone other then the rescue spa site?

    • @jennajacqueline1394
      @jennajacqueline1394 5 років тому +2

      Jesse Meyer the only formulation of the lotion p50 you can get in Canada is the lotion P50T which has a higher ph, it was specifically formulated for countries that require skincare products to have a minimum ph so it’s less acidic. I haven’t found anywhere that will ship the original p50 to Canada unfortunately. I bought the p50T from one2oneonline.com though. Hope this helps!

    • @halliegould6048
      @halliegould6048 5 років тому +1

      It a controversial ingredient-one that many of the other P50 iterations omit. I admit, I still use it because I find it works better for my skin than all the others. It's controversial because it can be toxic if ingested in large amounts or can cause irritation and burning on the skin. But, personally, I haven't noticed any harmful effects. The choice is yours!

      Glossier solution!!! But in all honesty, P50 is the winner for me. I started using it in the beginning of June 2018 and I restocked it last week after using it at night on a daily basis. It lasts for months and months. There are 3 sizes, the smallest one retails for $28. It's the best investment you can make for your skin.

Exfoliating is such a small part of good skincare overall, and I think people have become obsessed with it. Overexfoliation is way more common now, which is why the topic of barrier repair is gaining more attention.
