I could seriously watch u do makeup tutorials all day every day! So helpful! What great tips and I love the step by step way in which u explain things. Thank u! More looks please!
I hate that blush tip. 😐. It doesn’t work for everyone bc for some people when they stop smiling the blush is too low and it drags the whole look down and it looks weird
I was told my a makeup artist that u should not put blush where she put the blush as when u stop smiling and your face drops it drag your face downwards as you age your face goes down so it best to put blush high .. make up artist Wayne Gross give tips on ageing skin 😆✌️
Exactly! I would put it a little over the bronzer, but about just below the highlight if that makes sense. Do whatever suits your face, but don’t use the smiling technique tho
In my opinion....make up should enhance and look like it’s not there. I love Nam vo’s simple but so informative approach. She truly is a passionate and gifted make up artist. To me...she’s the best
this is the best makeup video i have seen in a long time if i wasnt a broke ass college student i would've sure boughth each and every product that she used without even questioning it
I love this girl's videos. She's so calm and descriptive. Her skin is already glowing before she applied anything tho lol but it was still nice to watch
Donna Hunter Agree and honestly this make up would expire in about an hour! Like all those products would melt off....I find most of her tutorials are not realistic....love her but sorry, dewy icky dumpling! 😂😬💖
Rena Dempsey I thought that too, but gave her the benefit of the doubt bc maybe her skin is dry. Luckily I have oily skin...I can get the same look she had by putting on my makeup and waiting 10 minutes! 😂😂😂
"I am going to scoop a little bit" - thats like when chefs say: "I am going to add just a little bit of olive oil" - but always add a half of a bottle.
God i hate these comments "but she got beautiful skin to begin with" ok and??? That doesn't mean she cant put on makeup or ehat? Or you only satisfied when her skin is full of acne and pigmentation? now watch the damn tutorial and shut up
I get you. On almost every makeup tutorial, someone will say something about them not needing makeup. No one needs makeup, but we like it, so shut up. Or like sometimes we wanna look good in a different way. It’s just about playing with colours and finishes.
Very beautiful look, all high end make-up. I am so addicted to skin care that I haven't fully invested in all of this make-up. I am interested in the primer she used. I would love a make-up artist to do this same look, without all the products.
Hello Byrdie, i wonder if you could help curate a dry skin friendly selection of makeup brushes for me? I'm sensitive to both natural and synth brushes - but maybe there's one that's soft enough for my peculiar skin? Thanks! Love your content...
Loved this video! Been looking for a good tutorial like this for so long. BUT being dark skin, I'm also afraid of highlighting because it looks "oily" on my skintone. Any advice?
Your dumpling is here🙌🏻✨✨✨ I wonder if her makeup will last all day..because she didn’t set tzone with powder.. maybe she has dry skin..for me if I don’t set certain area it gets crease and oily. :(
Do the samething on a matured skin, and we will know...also it seems every step needs to be repeated...Her skin is amazing! I hope the gurus show the same steps on different skin types
her skin was awesome at the moisturizer. I would love to see her skincare routine or even her favorite facial or dermatologist
she has flawless skin though... this kind of makeup would accentuate my texture bumps sooo bad :(
the elf small tapered brush is a surprisingly good dupe for that chanel highlighter brush
Ella Jackson yes!! I have a sigma tapered highlighting brush but I like the elf better 😅. Great for setting powder too
Lol she has nice skin with like no hyperpigmentation, she looked glowing with just moisturizer on
Sam S I follow her on ig and she like gets facials once a week so it might be that
Chiara Zak once a week? Isnt that not good for the skin?
craz4jaymz maybe but she's a makeup artist so she probably knows what she's doing. I'm not even 100% sure she gets them every week so...
Sam S that's what I was thinking 😀
Agree, don't know why she thinks she needs makeup on. May be some eye shadow and lip color, that's all☺
Stunning, love her attitude! You can just tell she's a badass xx
She was glowing to begin with! I stopped noticing a difference after layer #1 of bronzer/highlighter/contour.
Love Nam Vo. Her makeup style is natural and beautiful!
Wow, that is a LOT of product but the end result is lovely. I picked up some good techniques in this video. Thank you, Nam and Byrdie.
her hair is PURE LOVE
My kind of makeup, feminine soft and glowy. 😍 Beautiful! x
came for the glow, left with hair envy.
I could seriously watch u do makeup tutorials all day every day! So helpful! What great tips and I love the step by step way in which u explain things. Thank u! More looks please!
wow, 3 layers of foundation, 3 layers of highlighter, 2 different types of blush and honestly i don't see the difference
I hate that blush tip. 😐. It doesn’t work for everyone bc for some people when they stop smiling the blush is too low and it drags the whole look down and it looks weird
V CR my personal fav is making a fish face! It works really well because it shows your cheek bones :)
V CR I apply blush closer to my eye, like above my highlight
yeah this doesn't work on every face
Love this look! Her technique is really cool and she has a really soothing voice lol
Wow best make up tutorial I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you so much!
love her skin right after the wonder glow !!!! dewy icon
I loved this video. Considering I own most of these products it’s nice to learn tips on how you apply them. Thank you.
I was told my a makeup artist that u should not put blush where she put the blush as when u stop smiling and your face drops it drag your face downwards as you age your face goes down so it best to put blush high .. make up artist Wayne Gross give tips on ageing skin 😆✌️

It’s true. Should start a little further back from that and blend up toward the top of the ear.
Yep! Learned that from Wayne too! 😊 aAd have noticed the difference.
Future SLP love Mr Gross he such a great teacher just love him tons 💕💕💕
deelight41 he’s amazing just love his work 💕💕💕 I learn so much from him .. u are so right 😍
In my opinion....make up should enhance and look like it’s not there. I love Nam vo’s simple but so informative approach. She truly is a passionate and gifted make up artist. To me...she’s the best
I have many of these products but that Hourglass highlighter stick is really off the charts bling!
Everyone in the comments: *clicks on makeup tutorial* Why is she putting on makeup?! Ahhh!
Omg your skin without makeup is so luminous and beautiful already! You are goals with or without make up. 😍❤️
Love her hair colour.
It sure helps that you have flawless skin. Would the same result occur if one has a little texture and hyperpigmentation?
I summed up about how much it would cost in total for this look and it ends up being 647$ WITHOUT BRUSHES. Maybe do a drugstore version?
Gooped and Gagged if you look up dupes online you should find very similar products for a quarter of the price
if u want drug store then watch someone else
I think anyone watches beauty youtube long enough will be able to do the same look with drugstore products.
adeline wurzer Thank you! Not everything is going to be cheap because you want it to be.
Speechless. One of the best videos ever. Thank you. Looking for your Nam Vo channel 😎
this is the best makeup video i have seen in a long time if i wasnt a broke ass college student i would've sure boughth each and every product that she used without even questioning it
I love this girl's videos. She's so calm and descriptive. Her skin is already glowing before she applied anything tho lol but it was still nice to watch
Love watching other MUA's do makeup 💖🙌🏼
can we have a drugstore version of this
Her skin is beautiful. I love her nails
She's pretty. But it does NOT take all those products for that look. Remember she's a makeup artist who loves makeup!
Donna Hunter Agree and honestly this make up would expire in about an hour! Like all those products would melt off....I find most of her tutorials are not realistic....love her but sorry, dewy icky dumpling! 😂😬💖

Donna Hunter Love it!! 🙌😍
Yes, Donna. But she IS doing a tutorial for us regular gals so it’s not very realistic for most of us. 😊
Thank you. So I'm not the only one who thinks those are a lot of products. Most of them you don't need.
Great video, her skin is amazing even before any make up! X
I adore her!
I need a video on her style!!! I love the top that she has on !
Your skin is everything !! Beautiful
I loved it! First time watching and you just brought so much light to this look! I can't wait to try this
"I am going to scoop a little bit" - thats like when chefs say: "I am going to add just a little bit of olive oil" - but always add a half of a bottle.
holy shit thats alot of product!
she didnt need it
Nice are you able to list your products in the description box
That's real talent right there. WOW
It helps when your skin is already flawless. I need her secrets for that amazing skin
Love love love, this look is def my cup of tea. I’m Korean and I have a hooded eye, can you do a hooded eye tutorial for eye shadow??
Love the overall look!
Sooooo many products!
Amazing tutorial! Can we get her skincare routine next??
the best makeup look tbh
So grateful for this helpful tutorial! Gorgeous! She’s so cool & down to earth. First learned of her thru Aimee Song💕
Nam is the best !!
Love Nam SO much, great tips!!
As soon as she Tom ford foundation I was like nope not for me next
God i hate these comments "but she got beautiful skin to begin with" ok and??? That doesn't mean she cant put on makeup or ehat? Or you only satisfied when her skin is full of acne and pigmentation? now watch the damn tutorial and shut up
rxxr Wow....angry person. “hate”; “shut up”. Get up on the wrong side of the bed?
I get you. On almost every makeup tutorial, someone will say something about them not needing makeup. No one needs makeup, but we like it, so shut up.
Or like sometimes we wanna look good in a different way. It’s just about playing with colours and finishes.
I've had that Bobbi Brown face/powder brush for almost 15 years and it's my favorite brush ever.
Sarah Catherine Billups whrite full name of this brush please!
Bobbi Brown Powder Brush ($68 at Nordstrom) :)
Beach Goddess Status n like 9 mins ❤🙌
#goals #glow #dewy #life #stunning
Very beautiful look, all high end make-up. I am so addicted to skin care that I haven't fully invested in all of this make-up. I am interested in the primer she used.
I would love a make-up artist to do this same look, without all the products.
so many layers of product!
Gorgeous wow
LOVED this tutorial! Wish she shared the shade names though since we have very similar coloring.
I have to say this bathroom is #bathroomgoals 😍❤️❤️
OBSESSED

Loved every moment!!!✨✨
What shade was your foundation?
Without make up, you look so beauuuutiful

So nice!! 😍

She's amazing!
love this look.
Chanel bronzer is discontinued. And so is it’s dupe Sonia Kashuk cream bronzer. What are you using now?
Does anyone know what Chanel brush she used? Was it the regular powder or the precision powder brush?
LOVE HER! What blush brush did she use, anyone??
Love it
Gorgeous
cardio-blending ...same girl..same..
Great tips! and are you the byrdie editor’s sister? You two have the similar voice tone and look alike.

Do you live there? your bathroom is amazing! (the view!)
Any advice?
Can you achieve this look if you have rough skin? Btw your skin is perfection. Thank you for sharing.
Amazing skin!!! x
her skin is unreal
You made that look so effortless. Its stunning ❤. Would you recommend someone like me that has oily skin try these techniques?
Amanda Alejo she said she has oily skin
Honestly I felt everything after the Chanel creme bronzer was pointless, that stuff cemented the whole look.
I want to see more tutorials with models who haven't perfect skin.
I love how her makeup looks but I CANNOT do this on my face because all it would do is emphasize texture
There is a knack to looking this good and she has it...if I put that much on I would look hideous..beautiful girl..
1st step have perfect skin.
It’s pretty and all, but I need to know how to get my skin so smooth?
Beautiful
Your dumpling is here🙌🏻✨✨✨
I wonder if her makeup will last all day..because she didn’t set tzone with powder.. maybe she has dry skin..for me if I don’t set certain area it gets crease and oily. :(
i apply everything to the mirror
