Been using Battery Monitor for 2 years. Also bought one for Girlfriend. Also got for 3 of my close friends. All work great.. Has history for up to 15 days.
Thats certainly a very useful tool but I would expect to have that information about the state of the 12V battery on the car's screen and sending it to a phone app without tinkering and adding a device. I guess that in a few years this feature will be standard for every new car.
That would be nice, but for now this is your best bet. I know some vehicles like the Livewire S2 Del Mar shows 12V voltage on the screen upon demand. I think the ability to see the trend is the most powerful part of the gadget. I was able to see our friend's Prius battery voltage going down on a steep slope until we figured out there was a dome light left on.

15 days...good to know! Thanks!
We had to replace the 12 volt on our Nissan Leaf and moms BMW i3. This is a smart product!!
I'm using this product on a 10 year old original Ford battery, can't believe it's still holding up ok!
Thank you so much, I feel so much smarter now. I truly appreciate your videos.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback.
Thank you, subscribed on recommendation from Drive the Lightening. I think I'll stick around.

Dome lights have caused a lot of battery failures
thought Prius had to only use AGM batteries becauses of its location
I'm pretty sure the 12V battery I pulled from that 2009 Prius was a standard lead acid.
You could open prius trunk with key it has hole you can clearly see, wouldn't be American :))
Yes, I figured it out to get in there. Still a pain to open from the inside, especially with old lift struts. Hopefully I won't have to do that often.
