Perhaps it is the heightened sense of panic brought on by my dead Mach-e that has made me so receptive to a well done video, but I rather think objectively that this is quite a fantastic video. It is pleasantly direct with no superfluous content. It is filmed perfectly and the dialogue is delivered precisely and perfectly concise. Everything one would need to know about this unfortunate event and how to solve the problem, no matter the details of the viewer's particular circumstance, is covered in this video. Well done, well done and so wonderfully helpful. I went from an anxious mess to a relieved and gracious person before the video even ended. Thank you so much!
Hello friends, thank you so much for 100,000 subscribers! 🥹🥰 I really love and I appreciate each and everyone of you so much and I can't wait to continue this journey with you all. Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart! ❤❤
I have been in the Automotive Field for 19 years and I have this car too.... this is one of the BEST and most informative video Ive seen. But all I see is whiny guys in the comments complaining and moaning
This video helped tremendously with getting my vehicle back on the road. I was in somewhat of a panic mode not knowing what was going on. All the info really helped. Thank you
Im a 19 year Automotive Technician who just got this car and was curious about the auxiliary battery (12 volt)...for all you guys complaining...believe me this video is as good as the TRAINING VIDEOS you get in the automotive field when learning about a vehicle component!! She could really hire herself out to dealerships, shops, etc ass a training person...lol
How lond did it take to open up the frunk? Did it open right away as soon as you plugged the connections? I tried on mine yesterday but it didn't open. Im curious if i should leave the connections plugged in to chatge maybe then my drunk will open
I have heard of people continuously locking the car with the remote until the 12v battery completely dies, then you will be able to open the frunk with the bumper connectors. I love our Mach-E but dreading the day we have an issue with the 12v battery.
it seems you are being sarcastic as a 19 year automotive technician who has this car...it really IS greatly engineered. In case you guys didnt know EVERY vehicle, electric, hybrid or regular has a 12 volt battery ...the lithium batterys for the DRIVETRAIN and moves the car...therefore hybrids and fully EVs have TWO batteries..one for the drivetrain and the other for the accessories (12 volt)
@@HuChing-ob4kk Yeah, I was sarcastic.. but well, as a swiss engineer who has worked for car conpanies i must say, this car has a few great ideas, but nothing more.. He didn't even make it through manouver-tests like the Elchtest in Sweden... There are many cars which drive better, are better engineered and bring more to the table.. I like the design of the car and it would suit my needs aswell, but it is not an engineering masterpiece...
Every car has its own pros and cons and the Mach e is no different. Even though sometimes it drives me crazy😄 If I have to choose now, I would do it all over again and I would buy it. It’s our go to car for long trips.
This car is NOT a headache..stop whining. Im tired of whining men. I worked in the automotive field for 19 years..EVS have less moving parts and require nearly ZERO maintenance except, brakes, tires, wiper blades, occasional lights, etc. This Ford Mustang is probably the BEST of all the EVs...from EXPERIENCE, believe me the access to the battery on this vehicle is less than a "headache" than replacing on eon a Mercedes or BMW where they are in the trunk or under the rear seat... Ive sat thru tons and ton of training videos..this one is EXCELLENT and informative...she left nothing unanswered and even showed you the hidden secret to opening the "frunk" without power and even showed you how to remove the plastic properly without damaging it..something the average person wouldnt even get past! And this EV is rated as the best and is a close 2nd in sales to the TEsla..so Im sure Ford wont miss YOU buying one.

I’m so glad to hear that, and I appreciate your comment very much.
Please give us the Dimensions of the battery. Regards
Thanks for posting, Very informational video.
Excellent video!! Very well done. Thank you for taking the time.
My pleasure!
That replacement didn't appear to be an AGM battery like the original. It's like to prematurely fail as well as it will be overcharged.
She kind of mentioned that at the end - 8:01
100k !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That ford dealer you called sucks 😅
I can’t agree more 😂
Excellent, informative video. Thank you!

It only works if your 12v battery is dead. But yeah it should open immediately.

Good engineering there 🫣
