Sounds awesome! Definitely recommend looking up things about zines and zine-making - they're helpful for making cool little books to easily distribute (and there's a lot of great info/resources around for self-publishing in general, but making zines could be an easy and low-pressure way to help get started)! ^^

And these binding techniques can also be used to help with making zines as well as easily binding custom notebooks (zines are little handmade booklets that people can distribute to others, or have for themselves - and they're often easy and low-pressure/low-effort to make so that they're easily accessible for a lot of people).
