Just seen this video, Just a heads up, The bolt has been changed to a dome nut now, due to the new model MT10's quick shifter rubbing on the cap head screw. :)
I installed one on my '18 mt10. Honestly, really can't tell much of a difference. It is great in theory and I figured I didn't waste much money on it even if it doesn't do much either way.
Looking forward to the ride video , I really want to know if you feel the difference, I'm looking at getting something familiar for the SD. It does look cool and I would probably do the same thing you said with the zip tie. 👍🏼👍🏼
You could try a shallower headed bolt or even a screw head to shorten the extended part of the fastener so that it wouldn't rub. BTW- have you heard of a throttle spacer to take up the slack for the 1200RS yet?
In my opinion yes, but it's not night and day, and doesn't completely change the shifting. It feels that little bit more positive going up and down, a bit more of a nice snick in and out of gears

Looking forward to your review👍
Any updates? Has it made a positive difference to shifting?
