I have to say, you guys hit it out of the park with the Sentry. I have been shaving with mine for about a week now and man, I feel like it gets as close as my Envoy but without any blade feel. I REALLY like my Envoy but I love my Sentry. I purchased the Sentry thinking worst case I dont like it, I will have a nice looking handle alternative for my Envoy. Well, the Sentry became my favorite between the two. Looking like it may be my favorite razor dethroning another USA CNC made razor from another brand. It is great having a solid lineup of razors though, so happy I own the ones I have.

Just had my 1st shave with my Sentry. I can honestly say I had a BBS shave on my face and head.
I have sensitive skin like you do Matt. I tried it with your favorite blade , the Perma-Sharp. I was scared to use it on my head but I threw caution to the wind and used it there anyhow. I took great advice from another of your video's ( Thank you! ) and did a cold water shave up top. I found I could feel the razor better because it was cold and it helped me shave on the back side where my hair is the thickest. ( My Bozo Ring) This might be my new go to for head shaves. I am going to try cold water on my next face shave too. Thank you for the education and the great shaver. - Kevin

My main razor is a Merkur 39c, which is the long handle slant. I hope to buy a Konsul in the future, but that's out of my price range right now. Since I have the 39c, this seems more of a side grade than an upgrade. But, I don't know for sure. How would you compare the Sentry to the 39c? Are there things you like better about either? Are they very similar? I'm wondering if I should explore this razor or hold out and save up for a Konsul.
It's more efficient and less blade feel than merkur

Is it as forgiving as a Henson mild razor? I shave my head and face and have a hard time getting a good angle at times and I don't want to get a bunch of nicks.
I've never head shaved so hard to comment with experience here
My go to for head shaves is the Henson Ti-22 Titanium in mild. This morning I did a full head shave with the Sentry and it was mild and smooth. It's a bit more efficient so I found I had to do less buffing to get to where I wanted to go. This might be my every day head shaver now.
@@sellitman thank you, my current go to is a Henson medium and High Proof Razor V2 for daily shaving. I was thinking about getting a TI-22 but didn’t see a point when I have both the mild and medium.
@@sellitman will the blade not cut if not in the correct angle like the Henson to prevent nicks?
@@Yoruichi__Shihouin I liked the weight of the Titanium. It's probably closer to the medium in aggression even though it's mild. Also the knurling is better. Much better grip.
Nice razor, but too expensive for my blood. Maybe make a cheaper version for people who are on a limited income.
Would have to be made of a cheaper metal, or with cheaper labor overseas to make it cheaper. And that just sounds cheap.
