In Loving Memory of OAG ….I visited my daughter in Alabama last week and bought some purple bean or pea seeds from Aldridge Gardens. I will plant them in his memory this Spring💜
Beautiful idea. I planted garlic from a dear friend’s garden who passed away in August. I look forward to making garlic honey with that with honey from our own bees. Thank you, Alabama Gardner. A beautiful soul.
That’s a beautiful idea. I planted garlic from a dear friend’s garden who passed away in August. I plan to make garlic honey with it when it matures with honey from our own bees. God bless the old Alabama Gardner.🙏🧄
I still hold his videos dear to my heart. I go to them constantly when I have a problem remembering his advice. I loved him like a wise family member. Just by him sharing himself on the videos. I'm planting okra in his memory, if it weren't for his videos, I'd not be enjoying fried okra in the winter.❤️❤️ A perennial will also be planted in his memory.
His death devastated me. He was an amazing soul. Unfortunately I do not have the garden space or the resources to plant anything - but I have been making his recipes and calling them ‘old Alabama gardener’ recipes. I also plan to pass on what he taught me and link everyone to his videos for references 💚
Oh no! I hadn’t heard. Thank you for sharing. I LOVED watching his videos! I learned so much from him! Right off the bat his series on growing onions comes to mind. Maybe I’ll plant some transplants if it’s not too late and they’re available. I’m going to miss him❤️
This just hit me hard. I discovered him this year and I really enjoyed his channel. I will have to do the same this upcoming spring to plant something in his honor.
So sad i was new to watching him n thought he was great. I know he shared his health issues a long time ago on a video i saw recently digging through. Does anyone know how he passed. I was looking forward to his next video n didnt say he was sick. I pray it was peaceful n in his sleep. I pray for his family. I will miss him n i just started watching him. So sweet.
Thank you. I will plant something very special in OAG’s memory.
I still miss Old Alabama Gardener. He was so nice and generous with his knowledge. A wonderful man. I will plant something in his memory today.

Great guy! I talked to him, via UA-cam, right before his 80th birthday. Such a kind soul and a wealth of knowledge.
