It was sweet to get to see this again. Old Alabama Gardener was one of a kind, and he will be missed.
Well, folks, Danny and Wanda, I just watched this video. It caused me to have two emotions, one, I enjoyed seeing you both and having a little porch time with Danny. and two, it made me a little sad because I would like to visit you more. But, as it is about an eight hours drive, I won't be able to visit as much as I would like. However, through UA-cam and E-mail we can still exchange information and greetings! I wish you as much happiness as we can get out of this old world that that God will always be watching over you!

At 65 my Doctor ordered me to eat a better diet to beat back diabetes II, and for a healthy heart. My college degree did me no good, but my memories of my farmer grandfather and hard work have made me a passable gardner. These two men are my go to ag professors. I miss OAG.

I'm 34 years old, married, and have 5 children. We survive mostly from stocking our fridges with deer that my children and I take every winter. We are actually living on the property I grew up on and we are trying to start our homestead. We are going to grow our own chickens and hogs and I've started my first garden here at this place. I've only had a couple of gardens in my whole life. All the family that I've had that could pass their knowledge on gardens have long since passed away. The few plants that I have are doing well so UA-cam is where I'm getting my information on canning and what have you so I greatly appreciate the knowledge that you and others are sharing for us younger folks. Thank you! I hope God blesses you in abundance more than He already has.
