    Gotta just be a straight packers fan with that order. The Lions records and stats easily go against this order, especially considering that they’re with a second season rookie QB.

      i have reasons, i’m making a video about why the packers will be the best team in the north and i’ll explain it in that

      What records and stats go against this order? Mahomie, Rothlesburger and Brady all won in their second season. Also, Love is in his 5th season, and Brett Favre qon in his 5th season with the Packers. So it's a logical fallacy to discount the Packers just because Love is in his 5th Season. You should judge QB's by their performance and not qhat season they're in. You must be a Lions fan. ;)

      Jordan Love is not a 2nd season rookie this is his 4 years and he spent 3 years learning from the best so he’s getting a big contract and they are going to make a SB run this year lions fans are scared of the truth paying Geoff a Hugh contract is stupid

    • @doboykid262
      @doboykid262 13 днів тому

      @@michaelgray8318 3 years on the bench, 1 years on the field and a play off win. That’s not to discredit him he’s really good, but that doesn’t beat out an NFC CHAMPIONSHIP and superbowl appearance QB in Goff. If his stats beat out Goff this year it’s no problem admitting if he is the better QB like Rogers was, but again, only 1 years on the field. Just need to see more before he can comfortably have that title of best QB in the north. JJ is a backup and Caleb still needs to touch the field. Personally idc who the better QB is, it’s who’s the better TEAM altogether.

    This is crazy. There's no way in your right mind that you can take a team like the Lions: a top 4, arguably top 3 team last year, who lost next to no one in the offseason (except Jonah Jackson and Josh Reynolds), and upgraded at multiple positions through free agency and the draft and rank them BELOW Green Bay, a young roster that hasn't shown consistency yet. Until Green Bay proves that they can perform like they did for the second half of the year, they shouldn't be ranked above a team that performed as well as the lions. 12-5 vs 9-8.

      Yet the Packers dog walked KC and Det in the second half of the year. GB finished as the better team over DET. It's not about how you start it's about how you finish. The Chiefs played like Garbage in the first half of the year, that doesn't take away from them winning the SB. Calling the Packers average at best is wild as they dropped 48 points on Dal on the road (best home team in the NFL last year) and GB rested their starters in the second half and they lead the 49ers for 55 minutes of the playoff game and they beat the living hell out of KC and the Lions in the second half of the year. Get your head out of your a$$

      who had more TDs all season, who had less turnovers all season, who had worse weapons, who beat the higher seed in the playoffs (on the road)
      wins against the rams and bucs aren’t special at all, packers were better for the entire 2nd half of the season (jordan love was also MUCH better than goff)

      @@thecaldwellcorner I’d rather my quarterback play better in the playoffs than regular season, which of course the lions won more games. With the addition of Dj Reader and guys they got in the secondary, they have a better roster and better coaching than the packers. Their offense definitely does have more weapons and a qb who’s a proven winner in the playoffs with better stats, plus by far the best offensive play caller in the division. Also, remind me how Love played against the conference champions compared to Goff, I forgot.

    • @thecaldwellcorner
      @thecaldwellcorner  Місяць тому

      @ethaneck9551 packers defense is better by a mile with one of the best corners in the league, one of the best safeties, one of the best edge rushers, the packers offense also graded out much better than the lions offense did in the 2nd half of the season and in what way do the lions have better coaching? Matt Lafluer took the youngest team in the NFL to the playoffs and beat the #2 seed, you can cherry pick one bad game from jordan in the playoffs when it was raining and purdy played just as bad. Jordan love was top 3 in nearly every statistic from weeks 8-end of season and jared goff was never close. I would expect a team that’s playing against teams worse than them to win at home, the packers went into dallas and won and then went into san fran and put up a way better fight than the lions ever could, not to mention the packers killed the lions last year while being short handed and on the road on thanksgiving. You’re boy amon ra st brown even admitted to not wanting to play the packers in the playoffs because they were so dominant. I can’t wait to come back to this comment in january

    Even though I disagree with the #1 pick keep rolling with the videos. Anointing Love as a top QB after 1/2 a season seems immature. Especially if mumblings are correct that the Love's camp is saying he may hold out which means the Packers aren't sold. The Packers have a new DC. The Lions were bottom three in pass defense and now they may be top 12 on paper.

    This packers channel and a vikings homer are calling Lions fans out for being cocky?
    That is laughable considering that defending their very recent improvement pales in comparison to both fanbases history of cockiness, esp the packers, whose former QB would stand on the gridiron @Soldier Field while pointing and ridiculing bears fans. And who would not name the Lions..calling them "that team".
    For a supposedly "elite" MVP QB...rodgers only played in and won one SB...and his predecessor favre went 1-1. Not exactly legendary, or dynastic.
    Now some pack fans are boasting of a 1/2 season rebuild...umm...how does finishing 8-9 and missing out on a WC by one game the prior season count as a "rebuiild"?
    Not to mentipn QB love, who was a draft pick several years earlier and had some preseason/reg season experience prior to becoming a starter last season.
