This series is giving me a strong urge to build a sick off road rig. Too bad I live in kansas and we dont have a whole lot of sand and off road trails around me but maybe it would be an over qualified ditch bagger. I also dont have a welder and stuff yet or the money for all this yet. Me and my dad do have a rusty bronco so cutting it up wont be as painful as a nice preserved truck.
At 1:28 where did you find that beam that takes over for the fender support? Looking at trying to buy one to put on fiberglass fenders but still wanting to keep that strength up front 👍🏽
Should have taken the factory cross member out and done a tubular one would have made it easier to get to the engine and lost a lot of weight. But it looks good guys
definitely to the inside as mentioned @ 11:33 . We may add a gusset to the frame as well, but have to be weary of the clearance to the beams at full bump!
@@WingsWorldChannel Yeah, you could go forward on pass. side and backward on driver side, but yeah, clearances would prevent doing much on the side the opposite beam is on. Love what you're doing to that thing other than ruining it with a bowtie!
I really can’t wait to get to a point where I can build a beam kit for my 2wd 94 Chevy... gunna be a while but I’m thankful to learn with y’all thank you!!
Once again Awesome Job & Great video, thank you for sharing. With inspiration like this, I'm going to have to convert one of my street trucks or buy another truck to setup for off road. Great Job Guys!
@@WingsWorldChannel You are most welcome & I really want to thank you for sharing your builds both on the trucks and the Bugs. I used to have a 68 Baja style Bug back in the day. Like they say, "You can't keep all of them".
I think the engine is not centered in the ford engine bay due to brake booster and steering box etc, i might consider centering the engine when I do the suspension stuff on my build
Looks good. You got wondering why guys aren't designing a cross member/ bulkhead like the center link guys do. Just a thought since you have solid works.
In an ideal situation, we may not even have used the stock frame rails up front. It may be easier to build our own that are already boxed and don't have weird curves or random holes. That being said, since we already have an engine cage built and the engine mounted to the factory crossmember, it would be more work to do that than getting what we have to work.
One question, I am new to prerunner build and I am trying to learn. Why don’t people put heims on the end of the I beams where it connects to the spindle? Might help adjusting camber and toes
Sign up for a machine shop class in a junior college then you'll be on the insurance and the instructors usually will let you come in when ever to use the machines and then you'll have an entire machine shop at your disposal for the cost of a few units per year don't tell them the parts are for a car Keep crushing it guys im living vicariously thru you lol 😆
These are camburg hubs/spindles. We ran these with the previous setup and didn't have any issues. If we didn't already have them, we would likely build our own spindles to save money.
Fr guys! the amount of work you get done is impressive af! Wish I could dedicate as much time to working on my toys! Father life over everything haha thanks for the information and insight you guys share with us all on UA-cam!
Depends on a lot of parameters, my suggestion would be to figure out what you would like to do and price out as many parts as you would think you need!
Hello Gents, I need some help, I bought a 96 Bronco I am told by the seller it has a 6" lift sitting on 35"s I am trying to find out who' is the lift Mfg. or what I should replace it with, This is a curb crawler will never be off roaded,, Thanks
Awesome video. Your work is top notch 🤘🏾🇺🇸
Thanks for the inspiration guys! 🤙🏽
Super clean work my dudes!
Looks sweet. Very nice.
Them welds tho😍😍

Solid work boys. For the first time I would say you crushed it. Christian your fab work is gangster brother.
Hell yeah, your guys work is awesome
thank you brother!
Finally getting around to building my F100…..question on mounting things…..what’s the best way/method to orient the beam mounts on the frame?
Killer work guys,,and a Great Video also...
Doin Well Guys...that's where a Scanned File is nice its an exact copy.
For sure! We did have a section scanned but it did not come out as well as we had hoped. Our measurements were not exact but they got the job done!
As far down as those beam mounts hang from the frame have you thought about gusseting them to the frame, front and or back?

I really enjoy watching guys my age and younger take so much pride in their work. Keep it up boys.

Y’all give me the inspiration to live up to my dream of turning my 96 ram into a tucked up trophy truck ! Keep on brothers!
Awesome work I love watching you guys it gives me pointers👍👍👍

hello, ask what type of welding are you using, is the micro-wire correct, but what alloy?
nice work boys, What state they in anyone know? wish CT had prerunner addicts

Are you going to install bump-stops and limit -straps?
Yessir
How much up travel are you guys getting and how much ground clearance?
Sickkk, what knuckles are y’all running? Did you make those as well?

👍 we need longer videos from you guys! Love the work !
What kind of truck stands are you guys using? Where can I get a pair of those from?
They are made by sumner, you can get them on Amazon 🤘🏼
legit work dudes. keep it up.

Bubba da goodest boy!!! He da handsome boy!!
THE BOYSSSSSSSSS
I can't wait to see the ranger rear end build! Great work!
Are you guys taking customer work?
Those are so boss!
How much would a build like this cost ???
Depends on a lot of parameters, my suggestion would be to figure out what you would like to do and price out as many parts as you would think you need!
If I had any fab skills, I would ditch the engine cross member and fabricated my own...
Great job brothers!!!!
👏👏👏
Yes yes yes yes!!!
Sickkkkk
👍👍
Details on the lathe and if that model is worth it? Been looking for a small one too.
Congrats on the lathe too. I have a small atlas and I use it all the time for dumb stuff. You'll be supervised how much you use it.
