@@myemailiscool That's simply because it's a BMW. No secret here, they are always fast no matter what version. Some people downplay them because they are salty or BMW haters.
Nothing is "alarming" as you say. You say it like M4s were not that quick to begin with. And this is not even the X-Drive version (even tho the CSL don't have a Xdrive version).
And with a good stage 1 with all *stock* parts, the S58 take almost +200HP easily.
6.6 is insanely fast. I didn't see that coming. Wow!

@@WhoisToyambo In Germany M4 comp is about 120-130k, CSL 220-230k euro. As good as it is It's hard to justify a 100k price difference.
Of course objectively it’s not worth the huge price difference. But since this is a collectors car and an investment as well….it makes sense again

I don't know how many BMW video reviews I've seen in the last 6-months where the steering wheel is not exactly aligned straight when it's driving straight. With the red mark at the top it really shows in this video.

100-200 just crazy faster than a M8 competition or an 911 gt3 rs from 2023 or an gt63s, imagine Stage 2 or Stage 3 on that one, gonna be break some records with an Stock Engine.

Why the csl might have retained the classic iDrive with a/c buttons? Is bmw or M aware of the fact that the old system is better?
A bit late but I’m always here. Hope you had a good weekend and wow this car is nice. If it had wider tyres for grip off the line it would be slower 100-200 but I think it’s really balanced for a rwd car 🔥
It would make faster laps on wider tires on the back and not really slower 100-200 there are good lightweight tires on the market

Das Fahrzeug wird besser, je länger man sich damit beschäftigt. Die Performance ist schon gut, man muss allerdings bedenken, dass er nicht dank 550PS mit "nur 40PS" mehr eine 6.6s 100/200 fährt, sondern weil die Wahrheit bei ca. ~600+ PS liegt. Im direkten Abgleich mit dem GT3 ist er geradeaus schneller, kann ihm auf einem Track aber nicht gefährlich werden, und dann ist da ja noch der GT3 RS....
Does it launch in 2nd gear ? That makes all the difference to, if not avoid completely, at least reduce wheelspin greatly.
The engine sounds better, too. 6.6 seconds 100-200 is scaringly fast...that's less than 2 seconds away from the McLaren 720S! I remember you scoring 4.7s in that other video!
No, only 6MT M4 can launch in 2nd gear. All the automatic M4 variants can only use launch control from 1st.
@@plasmac9That’s not correct. It will actually flip to 2nd gear to launch and still fights for traction. The AWD variants in the normal and Comp will launch in 1st. The CSL always launches in 2nd gear because it’s RWD only.

Fast car actually would've like it to have beaten the 911 turbo, but that is lighter and has all wheel drive and that's something that the M4 CSL does not have.

Es ist nicht allein der Peak PS Wert der zählt, viel mehr Relevanz für 100-200kmh Zeiten hat die DURSCHNITTLICHE PS Leistung im gefahrenen Drehzahl-Intervall

Yes….this is M5 CS territory.
Kinda makes sense though, RWD has less drivetrain losses than AWD - especially on a rather complicated system like xDrive.
The sad short-shift to 2nd gear gives me physical pain. Making the ultimate driving machine with ZF8 is a joke. On the bright side, I could keep up with my g30 550i in the city while hauling the baby and a stroller 😄

That engine didn't sound great tbh. My stock m140 sounded better than my M4 comp with an m performance exhaust, M4 louder yes, better no.

4 50 minute absolut unverantwortlich mit fast 300 dort so anzukommen bei den Transporter wenn er ausgeschert hätte wärst du weg und hättest dich und andere in absolute Lebensgefahr gebracht und eventuell totgefahren du bekloppter mach lieber noch ein bisschen Fahrtraining und fahr vorausschauend und nicht so hirnrissig und zieh die Handschuhe aus
