Hi Brian some nice spuds and you have done well keeping your tomatoes under control, mine have been a bit of a mess this year but hope to harvest some soon. I hope the sspc does well.👍👌💪🥔😁
after over 60 years of gardening, this year is the first time i've ever encountered these problems. thin stems, blind growth and the first truss over 4foot high on some plants. after last years spuds, i'm pleased to get back to harvesting some. lol. it all makes for an interesting year................brian
not bad considering there's only two bean plants, ady. it looks like even more beans this weekend. i thought the angled tomatos was a sensible idea. definately worth trying.....................brian
I look forward to your video s Brian.I am 83 with similar interests.I have just sent for some Arran Chief potato seed.A really old variety which I haven’t seen for many years.Best wishes Geoff
thanks for watching, geoff. are your arran chiefs for christmas potatoes? you're right. i haven't heard of them for years either. let me know how you get on with them..................brian
Wonderful potato harvest Brian. I agree with Nick 😂😂 my tomato plants have become triffids and taking over a bed but luckily they are outside and not in the poly. Have a marvellous week, keep that wonderful smiling attitude, Ali 🥵🌞🇨🇦
Lovely harvest of your potatoes there Brian. I thought you were growing the drill for a minute there..😂 Don't be feeling to down, a lot of my plants are not doing as well as they normally do, everything seems to be growing a bit slow or not at all and I don't think we are on our own with that one. Take care my friend...☺️🐮🐮🐮
at my age, problems in the garden and polytunnel are trivial. theres always next year. my gourds and cucumber have grown like hell this last couple of weeks................brian
I am looking forward to seeing how my single chit Performer has done, the single chit Kondor died back early. Nice update Brian. ♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
Some nice clean spuds there Bri , I had tomatoes like that a few years ago and i think it was from over feeding . Do you ever see the Polish guy that used to help you on the allotment ? .See you on the next one,
unfortunately, bob, i no longer see anybody from the past. i'm used to plodding along on my own now. the potato harvests are a far cry from last years rubbish. most of us are getting better yields under much harsher conditions than we experienced last year. this is nothing unusual. i used to keep a diary every year, logging the basic details of weather etc. no two years were ever alike. ......................brian
Hi Brian, A very nice Charlotte potato harvest, I'm very disappointed with those large potatoes that we have grown I have only been getting 3 or 3 large potatoes like you just in the bottom half of the pots, Susan is doing well up to now she has just had another blood test done and if its as good as the last one we shall be pleased, anyway my old friend take care until next time.
i put my christmas spuds in last week. i don't think it's worth waiting any longer. i have my fingers crossed for good results, ron. i have had quite a number of messages from people wishing you both well. i have not put out the reason for your lack of videos this year. i believe bill and val know.................brian
my charlotte christmas potatoes are in now. my fingers are crossed for good results, ron. even though i've not put out the problem online, i've still had a number of people wishing you both well. i believe bill and val know..................brian
