  • Big thanks to Michigan Guide Service for taking us out and teaching me to cast a Center Pin. If you have ever wanted to learn this fun and challenging way of fishing, this video is for you. Caught some brown trout, rock bass, Steelhead, and even a perch! Call Captain Brad from Michigan guide fishing, if you want a great experience on the mighty Manistee River in Northern Michigan, and tell him Truax Outdoors sent you!

Sweet video! Now you just need to get your own so we can hit the river during steelhead season! So glad to see that there are panfish back at tippy!

The invasive species was a gobby, they originally came into the Great Lakes from barges coming from the ocean. They are 2-9 inches long and have wing like Finns coming off the side of them, with a fat wide head. They look close to a sculpin witch is a native to our waters.
