Sounds like Heath is a black belt in BJJ and in life. What an amazing person to be helping those in need and giving them direction

Just want to comment this for people like me who are having trouble, these are a few things that made it more successful for me
1.) The "Shoulder dislocation" part is weirdly important, don't skimp on this.
2.) Don't squeeze too tight before the "shoulder dislocation" part as it makes it hard to get your shoulder low enough.
3.) I was turning too much onto my side to apply the pressure (same mistake Bernardo makes) and even though it feels more powerful it shifts the pressure to the side of their neck and doesn't get that same "oh shit" reaction. When I started sliding straight up from the chest (The "J" on Bernardo's rashguard) into the neck with a downward pressure from my shoulder it was a lot nastier.
4.) Pop up onto your toes a little so you can drive your body weight diagonally down (as in hips slightly higher than your shoulders) through the shoulder.
Hope that's helpful and if anyone has any more details that worked for them I'd be grateful if you shared them

Something BJJ lost along the way was the og judokas' ability to create infernal pressure on top. Tapping people with such a simple but powerful move is just beautiful, pure efficient BJJ as it's supposed to be

what a great coach! My favorite youtube content is PSF / Daisy Fresh and anything Heath produces. I must be 150 hours into his team’s antics and seminars. Truly the best! Thanks Heath.

That giving people a blue belt if they come and pass the test on your instructionals is pretty bad ass.

I grew up in such a small place I couldn't get to the closest city to train. I learned from instructionals in the beginning. When I got the chance I wanted to make some that really changed something for people. Something that made their lives better and gave them more options to succeed. This was it. Thank you David. You're appreciated

This why I love Daisy Fresh. Their white belts are probably most gyms purple belts. It’s crazy how high level they are!

We use a different hand position at my academy, and am looking to go back to this more traditional side control, but wanted to find the best way to do it. I've watched Machado, Roger Gracie, Henry Akins, etc., but THIS is the most powerful side control I've ever seen. It's comparable to the "super hold" I've so often seen in competition. Excellent stuff, will start using this very technique as my primary side control going forward. Thank you Heath for such an amazing tutorial.

I havent gotten it yet due to not enough money currently . But the price of the 4 video bundle is very fair and unexpectedly low for whats offered.

When they run those deals it gets low enough that I truly believe the investment is worth it. That's why I waited so long to make it. It needed to be something that could truly help. Thank you for your support.
