I must say your local library is so nice to be offering games for Nintendo Switch :D Speaking of which, the BGM you played reminds me of one of my favorite video games BGM composers. Her name is Laura Shigihara, and she did the BGM for Plants vs. Zombies. I recently just bought another Switch game that she did called "To the moon". It's not a new game, but it's more cozy style game(which I am not very used to). If the library has it, you should totally check it out :D
I have never tried Ukulele to be honest. I played a bit of guitar, but that's about it. I haven't touched my guitar for years now. It's really nice to see David playing and singing too. It's always fun to share hobbies together at home.
Me and Evie have been playing PS5 games more lately. I actually have not touched my Switch OLED much since Monster Hunter Rise came out on PS5. I bought the Switch just for Monster Hunter. Speaking of, they will be announcing Switch 2 next year(in a few months), are you excited for that?

I returned to work today, and I’m still finding it a bit difficult to switch my mindset. So I am replying to you and having some break haha.
I didn’t know you used to play a guitar! I have short fingers, so I can’t reach the strings on a guitar, so I went with the ukulele instead. I imagine that you play guitar again at some point and Evie sings together hihi.
Actually, I’ve never played Monster Hunter. It’s so famous, but I missed the opportunity to try it. I might check if the library has it. Anyway I hope this year will be wonderful for you as well!
@@ogawachikako We had a very quiet New Year. I think we both went to bed before 10pm hahaha. But things are starting to pick up in pace, day-job stuff. I had not travelled for my company since right before Covid lock-down back in 2020. I was just told today that I'd need to start travelling again for various assignments. First trip will be the end of this month(Lunar New Year I know), and another one planned for next month. It'll be fun to get out of the house I guess. My cat certainly won't like it.
I haven't played my guitar for so long, and now I have soft baby fingers again :D The way you describe me playing and Evie singing almost like karaoke session. It'd be fun to do that too, someday.
Monster Hunter is definitely not a cozy game :D But there are so many Monster Hunter games within the franchise. If you like turn-based battles, then Monster Hunter Stories is actually really cute (Evie plays that). But yeah, do check them out if you can :)
I hope we all will have a super productive year too. I tried pastel(for the first time) yesterday and working on a piece... I think I hurt my wrist so I will rest it a bit before I pick it back up again.
