KNX Remote ETS Programming by 1Home

In today's episode "KNX Remote ETS Programming by 1Home".
This tutorial is about Remote ETS Programming (How to connect to a KNX Installation Remotely)
The default IP Port of the KNX IP Port Interface is the 3671.
In order to access this port remotely from outside World you will need port forwarding.
But port forwarding in KNX is a big security risk. It is like to give in a stranger the keys for your house.
That's why you should always avoid port forwarding.
So the best solution for remote access in KNX is VPN (Virtual Private Network).
You can setup a VPN connection using a Router that supports VPN,
or using a KNX device with empedded VPN Server,
or using 1Home Remote Access.
In order to start using Remote Access Service you will need a 1Home Device, like 1Home Bridge.

Hello dear
first of all thank you for your great tutorial.
now i am using ETS5 Lite. you know i can program only 20 devices in one project. so each devices have own individual addresses.
if i program the 40 devices 20 by 20, then connect these with knx bus, it will work or not? please answer my question

You will need to create 2 ETS projects and you will have to be very careful with the individuals addresses and Group Addresses.
