I love visiting Woodbury whenever I visit my parents in nyc and didn’t realize they had a Loewe store! And it looks like they have a pretty good selection of classic style bags. The gucci store is definitely not worth it 😭 only items that are specially made for the outlets are in there ... learned the hard way after standing in line for an hour and half during Black Friday in 20 deg freezing weather! 😅

I think Woodbury is one of the few places that has such a wide range of outlets. There’s a lot of outlet malls but most of them are nowhere near as special. It’s quite dangerous for my wallet because of how close by it is to me. I didn’t buy anything this time but I’m already wanting to visit again 😅

I don’t recall seeing it there. In my opinion I think it’s unlikely that they would have that bag at the outlet because it’s quite a popular one and is selling at the regular boutiques. You could try giving the store a call before you head over there and see if they’re able to tell you what stock they have. I think you might find the best deal for that bag by waiting for a promo code at Saks or Neiman Marcus though.

Haha I decided not to wait on line because it was barely moving. I stopped in a different store first and when I checked back not a single person had made their way into Gucci. Oh wow good to know about those Burberry sales. I’ve bought some scarves from the Burberry outlet before. As for the Diorama I feel like it may be competing with the 30 Montaigne because they are both flap bags which may have contributed to why they’re discontinuing it. Since a lot of people want a new design and many of those who wanted a Diorama may have gotten one already, it makes sense to phase it out. I think a similar thing is happening at Chanel with the Boy being replaced by the 19 bag. But the Diorama is still a very classic shape so I don’t think it’ll look outdated but it’s not valuable in the sense of resale price because it’s already discounted.
CAROL CHAN yes that’s what I look for in a bag purchase also is the longevity. So far for timeless pieces would be Birkin, kelly, Chanel flap, and Lady Dior. Do you have other timeless pieces you recommend?
The Chanel 2.55 reissue is also a classic as well as the Constance from Hermes. And from LV there’s the Alma, Speedy and Neverfull. Some others I would say are timeless are the Fendi Peekaboo and Celine Classic Box Bag. I think the shape of a bag, more than anything else, is what gives a bag that timeless quality.

No they didn’t have the Lady Dior. I don’t think they will have Lady Diors at the outlet because it’s such a popular style and one that Dior constantly produces.
These are outlet stores, so usually where a brand will sell items at a discount when it didn’t sell at their full priced stores. Although many companies are also making products specifically for their outlet locations too.

I’ve been there a few times but didn’t buy any of the luxury items. What I found is they do have some discount on special items that have a higher price point to begin with. They don’t usually carry the more standard products. I found it better to look for some discount on online store instead of buying any bags from the outlet store if you are looking for more standard style or color. A little bit disappointed at these outlet store.
They’re never going to have the current season and staple items at the outlets (unless it’s at full price I suppose), but aside from that I was actually impressed at how wearable some of these items are. Some stores were definitely better than others in terms of selection though. But I agree if you want something that is new to the market it’s better to look for discounts online.
