Having a good time with my nascar on oval, the more you run it the more loose the suspension points get and feels better

I agree with the keeping it box stock for stock class racing, but if your interested in a awesome brushless motor direct drop in is the hobby wing fusion mini 16 motor with esc works with stock motor mount and pinion and is awesome in the Losi Nascar. It would be the brushless equivalent of the stock 380 or pretty darn close. Any who thanks for more Losi nascar videos appreciate your passion for these as well.

thanks man i hope to show some freaking results lol. i think when horizon makes a drop in replacement then maybe a mod class could come about. it needs to be something cheaper and available for everyone. i intend to get another one when they get back in stock and start throwing some tuning parts at it and see how far it can be pushed at the track!! looks like parts are slowly coming in at horizon

Agree with getting a second car for mods my preordered car got pushed back to November and same with the option parts. They are having issues getting this stuff to market but firmly believe that as it becomes more available there will be more racers and people interested as well. With the limited stock out people are already doing some amazing stuff with this cars platform. That brushless motor esc combo is on sale for 60! Pretty decent for a great combo motor. Granted you would need to have a new transmitter and receiver as well but for a mod class it be worth it. Either way I think Losi did a great job with these and your doing a great job helping newcomers!

It’s always the little things that get ya ! Put shorter aluminum clamping hubs on the rear of my TT02 2 weeks ago and kinda forgot about it . Went racing ( almost ) yesterday and the car is going less than half speed and making clicking noises . It’s the tranny or rear diff I’m thinking and didn’t want to take apart everything at the track….So I didn’t race !
This morning I’m pulling the car apart ( putting on a new chassis anyway ) front diff ok ! And rear diff ok ! Turned the wheel shafts ? The new hubs went deeper than the older ones and were rubbing and clicking away . I’m pissed now coulda been a fast fix at the track ! Good luck with your cars

@@Dorkyand40 I've always run my typhon grom and Mojave grom on the street but you have lots of dirt and grit on parking lots and streets I spend more time cleaning up my cars than running them 😯😁👍

The Dodgers are losing at this time, so you get steering 101 form a Stock Car Guy. I have built race cars from GM, Ford, Potiatic, AMC and Chrysler - it don't matter as you always start at square one! You always center the Steering Box and the Pitman arm first unhooked from everything: in the RC World that is the servo, and the servo arm. Disconnect everything and make sure the Pitman Arm can move lock to lock without touching anything with ample clearance for stuff flexing under load. Completely drop the front suspension if that is what it takes.
Next look at the Center Link - what the Pitman Arm attaches to. Hook that up to the Pitman Arm and see if you have equal movement right and left when you move the steering wheel - if not equal, you got issues that need to be addressed Mechanically. More on that in a minute. You want to remove any contact of frame parts between the Pitman Arm and the Center Link. Contact of suspension parts by these two pieces is really bad - total party foul!
The Tie Rod are hooked to the Center Link going out to the left and right Kingpins. Next adjust the Tie Rod Ends so both tires point straight ahead - no toe-out and no toe-in. Now the fun Begins! What do you Got?
Do you have equal movement right and left? Does the car turn to one side or the other faster because one moment is shorter than the other from right to left? These are issues you may run into with the steering geometry on any car - RC or a real street car when you go to Race one. It is all samey-same when you start at square-one with a car's steering. Steering 101.
Now to set-up, toe the front tires out as a basic first step. With the slop in the front end this will immensely help with the centering issue. The tires will naturally splay-out as the car goes faster - this stuff is made out of plastic, and if the toe is off it will only get worse the faster you go. When your toe is straight up, the front end will hunt all over the place to find center. Also, the tighter the the turns, the more toe out you want to give it - it gives you Ackerman in your steering - look it up on your own. You will have none in an RC car outside of your toe adjustment.
You are going to make me buy one of these cars because I have forgotten more than most people know; and yes, I have played with RC cars too. I don't see a street course car here with this animal - total junk in my mind. I might be able to make one go round and round pretty well, and for the money that might be fun.
    Good luck with your racing!

Our club is running box stock. We have not had this issue I just checked both my cars however one of my diffs from factory was wrong. Took it apart and the teeth were not set to mesh properly and it was dry, adding some jt bearing grease and re setting the gears made a heap of help, i appreciate the videos and what go pro mount are you using to film your races? I want to do something similar thanks
