Knew Astor since my late 90s footlocker to Niketown days. Bro was the original this ain’t out yet kid with the kicks and my inspiration and catalyst to starting my career at Nike at the time. Had a couple of opportunities with applying for the EKIN role only to be bested by someone like Astor, with more experience, it only inspired me more to pursue my passion and dreams. This was an excellent interview and Astor is what true storytelling is about.
I’ve only gotten into sneakers within the past decade, so I wasn’t familiar with who Astor is. I love these guests and their stories of getting into the industry and the history of some of the most prominent sneaker projects.
