You could call it "Pomplamoose, The Musical ???"
Now I really wanna watch this fictional musical. I bet it would be about four people, all of whom are connected in some way, who move out to LA for a variety of reasons. Some of them will undoubtedly be changed by the city, and some of them will insist on staying the same, creating a rift between them. In the end, all of them will change. But for better or for worse? And can their relationships survive?
We'll never know because this musical doesn't exist.

I agree with Machaela Page. It's one of the things that got me so hooked on Ali's channel is that you can see the thought process and break down of the song and artist. Even thought I don't play anything, I love the technical BTS.
And sometimes Ali's surprise when she hears some neat little thing in a song and gets so excited. Just Awesome.

On relistening to this 4-and-a-half years later, I have two notes:
1. I still cannot believe these vocal melodies were not originally written to be performed by Natalie specifically. The way she holds that "who we aaaaaare" over those rising strings and the three echoing harmony lines is everything that is beautiful about music in a way that the original only wishes it could be.
2. Jack may do the arranging, but Natalie _absolutely nailed_ that reharmonization. The final refrain after all the instruments cut out gives me chills.

I would LOVE to see this as a scene in the musical. All four singers as characters exploring LA and feeling awkward at parties, holding on tight to one another as they take on the superficiality of their environment.

A group of 4 friends all in LA. They are all pretty normal. Jon wants to be in the fashion industry. Nataly is a musician/whatever and the story is seen through her eyes-ish. Other two girls are a couple, one of which is considerably more susceptible to the LA scene and gets sucked in and becomes a jerk. The musical is that struggle of being in LA and being yourself while not falling into the tropes of being in LA.
