It brings me so much peace, every single day so far that I have done, the rest of that day I am in such a great mood. It's the lord above! I believe Job 12:5 says that those without misfortune, the ones who are at ease don't even think about misfortune. Contempt is to disregard or to think something is beneath you to even consider. So if life is going great for you, you are not even thinking about what it would be like if it wasn't going good for you. You are living on a pedestal where misfortune can't get to you.
The second part shows how easy it is to fall from that pedestal you're on. A quick slip of the foot will throw you from this pedestal and into the middle of misfortune.
To me, it's teaching how easily and quick things can go south. So while you have a good life be thankful for what you have, remember it can be taken away quicker than it took to accomplish it, and be conscious of those that are suffering misfortune.
That’s exactly how I feel
I am behind but trying to catch up. Doing 2-3 videos a day. I am these lessons. Telling all my friends. Today is May 11, 2024.
This section has made me have a lot of peace. I get blamed a lot for my circumstances when I've done nothing wrong.

You are not alone with those feelings. I too, felt overwhelmed for the way I was learning and understanding for the first time what I was reading and studying. Praise GOD!!🙌🫶🏼 THE CLOSER YOU GET TO GOD , you need to keep firm and strong and ask God for guidance cause the Evil man will try to destroy it. Keep your FAITH as STRONG AS AN IRON. Cause God will always have your back.

Dearest Kanoe, I just want to say what a blessing you and your videos are in my life. Although I’ve been Bible journaling, for over seven years, I felt there was so much I wasn’t understanding (especially Old Testament!). So I had decided I would read (study) the entire Bible this year and learn what I could. And just when I was beginning to do that, on my own, your program popped up in UA-cam! Truly I believe you were God sent at the perfect time.
I’m retired now and feel like I can really put time into my study of the Bible. I feel like a sponge soaking up so much new information! I have pages and pages of notes and keep my study Bible handy so that I can check on things when I need more understanding.
I’ve signed up to donate monthly as well…it is a very small amount, but comes with my sincere gratitude for all you do! Being an artist, who follows many others online, I KNOW how time consuming the filming and editing are. You are doing an amazing job! This study of Job is such a heart check all over the place. I have made many mistakes over my lifetime. I am so trying to do better consulting God always first. Consulting God’s Word first praying first.
I am seriously falling in love with this book of Job. It is so interesting just thinking how it was written. We started off with KNOWING that God believes Job to be good and faithful and then we have to listen to what happens to him - which that part really was very short. And now the speeches from him and his “friends” have taken up so much more pages, clearly showing that God’s message isn’t about the suffering but likely about the way that it’s handled after. I hate that there are likely people in Job’s predicament who have people in their lives who are questioning them and those people are potentially being torn down spiritually over comments made by others. I pray that everyone will be like Job and find their faith in God to pull through whatever it is they’re going through.
Thank you Jesus for this Bible readings.. May God Bless this ministry richly and humbly.

On a recent trip for the L' Abri conference in Minnesota I had a dream where my dad said get back to your passion and your crafts. I (my dad) enjoy seeing the beauty of what you create! Sometimes it's an "ouch," but LOVING those heart-checks.
I started watching this program couple of days ago, and good thing I found from this study is pretty much productivity. It is not easy to have bible study in the group where few of members talk too much while most of members keep listening to the story not really interested, not having to voice their own. Reading the bible the reasonable speed and bit of commentary is good.
I appreciate the time and commitment you have put into showing us who god is. Its not easy to be a follower and job can definitely attest to that but it isn't supposed to be easy. We need grow and go through hardship to become the person god has envisioned us to be.
I pray you and everyone here can become the person jesus wants us to be
10:43 while you were reading the versus of Job's words to God, i kept thinking how we know the behind the scenes information, but Job does not. His questioning God and pleading for his "case", was natural. And here at this point you reminded us. Thank you for that.
Day 006: I believe that it’s definitely important to remember that God knows what is best for us and I think that’s where faith comes in. There’s only so much me know and understand as humans so it’s important for us as Christians to trust in God.
This provided a lot of meaning for me. Many lessons come out of these readings. 😊

Thank you for doing this! I have 2 questions
1- before Jesus died for us and then the Holy Spirit came down to be with us, could people in the Old Testament pray with the same access we have today? I thought they had a more official process of going to temple and bringing a sacrifice….?
2- does God forgive us for future sins before we confess those? I believe He forgives all our past and present sins when we repent, but future sins would require repentance as well.

even though Job's friends were giving him incorrect information, they still were referred to as his "friends", meaning sometimes your buddies will say/do wrong things unintentional so don't be so quick to cut people off.

Thank you so very much for doing what you do. I am binge watching this series until I get caught up and can continue daily for this year. You are more appreciated than you could imagine. I do have one question though, is there a way that your videos could be listed with Day 1 at the top of the list with each subsequent day following so that as the next new person finds you they can play them one after another from the oldest to the newest? Again thank you for all that you do. You are becoming an integral part of my day.
I love the option to receive the notes and prayer! Kanoe Gibson, would you consider giving an option to purchase a yearly subscription of notes and prayers instead of having to purchase each day?
The friends speaches remind me of the gongs in thises scriptures. They want to fix the situations, but lacked understanding of the grieving process and pain Job was feeling.
13 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned,[a] but have not love, I gain nothing.
