I got a cb175 I split the case to clean it out, and to do that I took the transmission apart, when I put it together I had no neutral or first, turns out the gear all the way in the bottom left corner was on backwards, how it got like that I don’t know, but your vid helped me figure it out thank you so much
I really liked how you did this video. I was wondering, What would cause a transmission to not shift between all the gears and a kick starter to not move when it is fully assembled?
many reasons why it would not shift, you could have a bent shift fork, your clutch my just need to be adjusted, there's a cam gear (looks like a star) on your shift drum and a stopper with a spring on it behind your clutch that may be worn. As fas as it not kicking over, it sounds like it was not assembled correctly or you have a broken gear. There's good parts diagrams online that would be helpful for you to look at, just google search. Sorry, not the best answer but kind of hard to diagnose without seeing it, good luck
