Auto Capture Nikon 2.0 Firmware on Z8

Join me as I try to get the Auto Capture Working on the Z8, Hear My Thoughts, and see my results (unfiltered).
this will also test the Bird Eye autofocus from Frimware 2.0 on the Z8, Firmware 5.00 on the Z9
Now that Nikon has RED camera's maybe the focus will get better.

You are doing a good try on the auto capture function. Are you using z-lenses? I remember that I have been reading that this function works best with z-lenses.
I also noticed that sometimes the focus changes to the background, many meters away from the object. As you now you can set the focus range in the Start setup. So maybe you will have better result with a shorter range. And you can also set the size of the objekt depending on the size related to the magnification related the size in the wievfinder. F ex a small bird looks big with a good tele-lens then the size setting for the objekt should be set to "5", even if the bird is small. This is just my thoughts 😊

Thank you for watching, For this Video I was using a F mount lens. I have now got a Z-Mount Lens and will be uploading the results of that testing soons. Was lucky to have it delivered in time for the little bit of Snow we had this weekend.
I did try it with larger setting but still not got great results. I am going to give more testing over the next few months but not impressed with the results at the moment. Looking forward to spring when I will be using it to get photos of Foxes, Deer and maybe Wild Boar.
