Ah! I use Joyo American and did 3 gigs with it. 1st gig without turning it on since sound engineer suggested me not to do so, though i didnt ask the reason why and the sound i was getting out of my rig through JCM was not bad... 2nd i used it with the same JCM, sound check was great but when we went live... I didnt even hear my guitar sound and like u said it was very thin. So i decided to not use it again in my 3rd gig with the same setup and the tone i was getting was awesome... Well i was still little not 100% sure what was the actual reason of my 2nd gig but now i am pretty sure i was using it wrong... Thanks for the info bro i really appreciate it
This is my current set up of my board Guitar->tuner->wah->metal zone->crunch dist->mosky sol198 input and went thru Mosky sol198 send->tomsline cabsim->chorus->phaser->flanger->vibrock->return of mosky sol198 Mosky 198 output-> noise gate-> input of Orange Amplifier. May orange amp has a fx loop. Can you help me arrange this for a better set up?
Definitely makes a lot of sense. I did the same thing for 2 years and i wonder why my guitar always sounded thin specially when I am using distortion. Been searching for a solution for 2 years. I didn't realize that stacking amp and using cab sim infront of an amp will sound horrible. Thanks idol Aaron 😊😊😊😊. I definitely have an idea to try on our next jam.
Thanks mate, I was looking to get one but was unsure how to use (plug) most reviews have it plugged in to their recording rig . Your video had it make sense!
I have done both at church. What I found is that it depends on the setup, the venue, and most importantly what type of DI box you have. The cheaper "Stage Bugs" that my church had only caused problems. If you have a high quality DI like the DISO+ (about $230 for stereo), you should always use it.
@@AaronSopungco Do you know whats strange my joyo board sounds the best in the return with a dummy plug in the send. Without a dummy plug in the send there is no power or volume.
Ayos! Bro im using boss Gx100, i dont want bringing real amp sa gigs. So i always go direct sa PA, many times masydong mataas ang mid ng tunog ko. And hndi balance ang dirty channels vs clean chanels ko. I need help sa idea ng balancing the dirty gain and clean presets
I also have a Direct Drive Radial to split my signal to personal monitor and direct to PA, I turned off my Cab/Speaker sa Boss, it was too harsh parang binabarena ang tenga ko hay naku
Imagine this to be a pedalboard signal chain tapos yung distortion/overdrive effect mo is the amp (power amp) Fx loop is after the power amp section, yung preamp out power amp in e before the power amp section.

Well you just saved me from blowing money on an amp sim. My amp doesn’t have a return loop so it won’t be handy for me. Even in the future since I’ll be playing a Marshall and won’t need a sim since I’ll have the British tone.
Question bro. I have a multi efx kasi which is nux mg300 and 1 OD and Dist (separately). Need ko ba i bypass ung pre amp sa multi ko pag gagamit ako ng pre amp na joyo american sounds? Or pwede ko sila pag sabayin?
Great question bro! Objectively, yes. One preamp lang dapat sa chain. Subjectively, you can get away with it kung okay naman sa tingin mo ang tone. There was this one time I used Joyo California, going into Joyo AC Tone, going into Mooer Radar, going into Marshall JCM 900's (ata) front of amp. Weird diba. How did it sound? It sounded great actually sa mga videos ng audience. Will I do this set up again? Never again. Haha.
@@AaronSopungco last question bro? What would be my chain signal is? I have OD and Distortion pedal, 1 mooer pure boost, noise gate, multi efx and last is the joyo pre amp.

Tama po sir..booster is on the last part of your signal chain before cuvave.. booster is not a dirt pedal..from the word itself 'boost', it boost the your guitar signal and whatever tone you have before it..nagtutunog dirtier/muddier or brighter yung sound it's because booster amplifies your current signal which adds volume and clips the signal and produces more gain and cuts through the mix..

Whats effect return .. i just use multi effects
What about Camsim? Can I turn on cabsim through an amplifier speaker?
What effects are you using?

Pwde pla un direct na lahat sa effecr loop sa send and return. Sabi. Kc yung mga wet pedals lang sa likod.
are DI box necessary for direct pluggin into the mixer ? you thoughts tq

pwede ba pagsamahin ang guitar pedal effects(outgear) at amp simulator? di ba papangit tunog non?
I use it to equalize n boost a distortion
How does it go into the effect return with 4 cables? I have the Quilter toneblock 202
What amp simulator are you planning to use 4 cable method with?

Yes bro, in some cases. Unless yung amp mo e parehas merong preamp out/power amp in and fx send/return.
Yes bro. Sa church kasi need ng direct signal papunta sa audio mixer eh. Recently nga, hindi na kami gumagamit ng actual amp.
Bro ask ko lang, because I have the same amp sim. Saan ko sya ilalagay sa chain? After ba ng distortion/drive? Or sa pinakahuli after ng time base?
After ng Dirt pedals pero before ng mga modulations (middle)
