Im a platinum 2 player so take these tips with a grain of salt but as a 2 years Quinn otp, I'd like to add, not only sidestep before engaging with E, but immediately after E too, people tend to expect you to stand still for an AutoAttack after it. Just step aside after landing the E and try to alternate it where you go, dont be predictable. Against good players theres also the option to E then flash before landing to bamboozle them even more. And also remember that, for an adc/assassin, quinn has a lot of utility, so if you are not doing well dont tunnel vision, seek the wincon and peel for carry with E on enemy engages, Q on enemy carries, and W in risky no-vision situations. I play quinn only as an assasin and this build is so much fun . The problem with this build if your playing top is that you face tanks and its hard to stomp the lane unless you are vs a squishy champion . Yet its not impossible to abandon top after level 6 and start roam again but in midlane you control the game easier . The only thing you have to do on mid is to farm safely till tiamat and then start picking up kills and scale to the moon , because thats one of the best scaling champs in the game ( if enemy teams are mostly squishes you are a nightmare) . You can pick Assassin Quinn into tanks/bruisers and it will be fine too. You just need to play for scale instead of focusing on bullying them. Gwt Tiamat + Mobi Shoes ( I still can't remember their new name) and waveclear, do a trade and recall .Rince repeat. Unless they has inherit sustain from wave you will wear down opponent slowly forcing them into lethal range where they have to recall or you can kill them. And if you can't kill them fear not cuz the carries are usually squishy and you will have much better economy than enemy toplaner so you can just fly over and kill whole enemy backline ignoring chunky boys

The thing is to farm consistently till level 6 as you can never win any lane with this setup . Rarely I go for an early cull as well and after you stack it you start to hunt your squishy preys . Although it depends about your team comp so my conditions to pick Quinn are the enemies to have at least 2 squishys ( 3 + is perfect case ) you can engage on and in the perfect case you need a tanky ally jungler or support so you can synergize your damage with cc . If somehow you get early kills with a nice gank the game is over because you snowball out of control
This channel never disappoints. I don't really ever prefer to play SR, but watching these unusual (but in hindsight so obviously fun) builds makes me want to queue up right away.
I've just played quinn mid using this build against a malzahar and I've never had more joy playing a champ like in this game, I've been always fan of Quinn top, adc and leth but those new boots are my favourite object of this season by far, it's too much fun roaming, killing or assisting, back, buy and then straight to mid at speed of light.

I'm so happy this came out right as I started one tricking Quinn mid 2 weeks ago lol. After the shiv changes I've been using that instead of hydra and it feels pretty nice. If they have 3 tanks I just do hydra/on hit but its so fun perma roaming mid and just one shotting adcs with lethality/crit. Banger off-meta video as usual Dobby >:)
I play AP Nunu with the recall boots and I keep W from base to the center of the map (it's possible with Homestart and upgraded boots), hit someone, take half of they health (their life if you're fed), recall, then repeat, it's super fun to play!!

the secret here is that this build works on a lot more champs than most people realize. Lee mid for example is quite strong on this build. I've looking around for more champs that can make use of this, but didn't think of Quinn!
it seems like first strike with sudden impact secondary would scale way better with this build no? why go electrocute if your early game is weak anyway... just farm the 15g until tiamat then pop off
Lethality Quinn mid has been a thing for yonks by loyal quinn players. No shit the recall change would make this a strat. Im jusy happy mid quinn is getting put on metrics for mid now.
Ohh, so that why I’ve seen so many Quinns lately. Luckily for me I’m still using the stupid AP Nasus build. Spamming E on first time Quinns is pretty fun.
It's quite an old strategy now, but you pick Cho'Gath botlane with another character that's good for engage & damage like Sett or Yasou. Yasou is the best pick in my opinion. Your Q knockup can be extended by Yasou's ult and his windwall stops crucial ranged attacks an abilities. Once Yasou goes in after landing a Q, you can silence the enemies and for laning you can hit them with your spikes from minions. Once Yasou get's them low, execute them with your ult. As for builds I would check mobafire, since I don't know what they are for the last few patches. It's great if you don't have a tank/peel toplaner such as a ranged top so that you can still fill the role of a frontliner in teamfights, and instead of a support you have a 1/10 Yasou ripping enemies to shreds.
I perfer tank Quinn honestly well main two starting items collector into Infinity edge into the hp ad convesion item and heart steal with optional 5th item and the same boots... running pta and tank runes
hasn't lethality quinn been around for ages? also the proxy feeding sion. baus has a great understanding of the game but i don't know why people are praising like he's some sort of pioneer.

For people who are playing plat and below: Try it on support. Its really fun, dont worry about your adc really. You do need to be smart with your engages since you dont have a level advantage over adcs.
Idk what it is but all of those high elo press e while they are in ult form which feels so weird because u loose a passive Mark from ur ult. Am i missing something or are they really that stupid?
Dobby says the ideal combo with ult is auto E - Hydra - auto Q auto. It looks like the high elo players are doing it successfully most of the time (the skystrike triggers before they go in with E) but sometimes they don't. I don't know if it is by choice or by accident.
Its longer range and faster, and since quinn usually has enough damage without the optimal combo, it is better to use also sometimes if youre unlucky, the enemy can have time to run away from e range after quinns first auto...

Quinn Supp with Aftershock or Glacial is stupid fun. Going Deadman's first item and you'll be zooming around the map with zero counterplay.

Faster burst so enemy dont flash away or cc you while you try to get your full combo. People high elo are better at peeling for carries than lower elo
