i had a smurf in my game who played this yesterday and inted lol. i personally wouldn’t try it because i know i don’t have the skill to pull it off yet, but it seems like a fun pick if i could dedicate the time to learning how to play it. sadly, i don’t think it’s something that’s gonna last for much longer though.
Just tried this out in norms against a neeko. The spacing needed to do this correctly is so hard. Luckily I had a pretty proactive jg that let me snowball off 2 kills. Definitely fun tho

Generally speaking she's the extrem of ADCs : Turbo squishy in early but scales freaking hard in late game . And she still is . But the extra farm , exp and safety for adcs is the reason we have 3 to 4 adcs in a single team . If you know you'll have a zeri in mid , here's my advise . Take a mage with cc and burst and poke her to death while hiding behind minions . If she goes AD she can do nothing because her main damage source is her Q . If she goes AP (pretty rare) , it's 50/50 since her main source of damage is her passif and first item . (Behaving like a mage in early and an assassin in endgame)
Watching Azir go even on Zeri in those trades while being a level down tells me a lot about this Zeri mid pick. Also Azir is using grasp instead of fleet.
i know a lot of people complain about adc meta, but i think that more champions should be playable in more roles. or at least, roles should have a wide variety of available champions. i’m biased as a mid main who hates bot but wants to play adc champions, but i don’t think that versatility is inherently bad for the game. in fact, i think it’s one of the things that makes league of legends more interesting.
Sure, being able to flex pick these champs in other roles is good, but the problem is that these other lanes are now oversaturated with ADC's. It's not uncommon right now to see 3+ ADCs on either team, and it ironically makes the game really boring.

They still haven't fixed minion aggro. That's the problem. Being able to poke out your laner over the minion wave without using mana while taking minimal damage is game breakingly good. Melee VS ADC is literally impossible to win without a jungler, if the ADC doesn't do multiple mistakes in a row. Just the fact that you can get damage on a melee after they are trying to disengage and can't attack you back is very good. Hashinshin talked about this problem where ADCs can zone you from getting XP while still farming, which melees can't. Mages can poke you too, but they usually don't have sustain and require mana. They are also very squishy and absolutely can't face tank you like an ADC could.

Another point about autoing raptors is that it allows you to see if a jungler is nearby since the chickens aggro onto the closest target

You could start with some normal adc that already have a place on mid such as Lucian ,Ezreal ,Corki ,Thristana.

The fun thing with Chovy is I can sort of estimate the time based on his CS. If he has 100 CS then it's been less than 10 minutes. LOL.
