Awesome footage...The best pre arrival-on scene video I have seen.hope every one is ok no injuries. Kudos to Dallas FD... Bonus points for the crane operator.
I guess the white SUV at 23 seconds doesn't know what it means to yield to emergency vehicle. Good thing the FD driver was cautious about making the lane change.
Nice video and fire 🔥 ground action catch, but are you sure that’s a 2ed alarm 🚨 and not a 3rd with a 4th alarm response… sure looks like it to me.. Tony from Indiana..🙌🏼👍👏🏼🔥🚨🚒📸
This site is a very large metal scrap yard. This incident was in July 2024. However, that had another fire about 10-15 years ago in the early evening involving railroad cars that were to be scrapped. It took multiple alarms and many hours to exitnguish this one. What you don't see in this video is the rubber neckers on I-30 as this site faces the freeway.

Looks like a lot of rubber burning 🔥 what a mess that can be. But you have a Great team working hard to put out the fire. 🧯
Didn’t this happen in July?
Yes. It's in the description
Yes it did.
The have more equipment than sense, what a waste of resources.
