I bought my parents sun hats this summer and have encouraged them to eat more veggies too. So your mom living her best life in her sun hat and eating a salad reminded me of them and made my afternoon 😂👏🏾👏🏾 I feel like our whole generation is parenting upwards as far as health and nutrition and it makes me happy. Ps shoutout to the cameraman 😆
I live in northern Vermont, so I was glad to see you shop at Shaw's since that is what we have here. It is expensive compared to Trader Joe's, but TJ's is 2 hours from here. Anyway, I plan to buy everything you bought and cook those recipes. Thanks so much for them!
Made the pea soup tonight. It was so yummy! Didn’t have any of the Mrs. Dash so I used Trader Joe’s everything but the bagel and it was really good. So easy!
I loved this ❤️. Getting ready to go stay with my daughter who had a baby in NY. Didn't know how I would handle eating different than everyone else and couldn't spend time cooking to much. Fantastic.
Shaw's is quite expensive. Here in Maine we have a Market Basket close to us and much prefer that store. Maine is an expensive state to live in, though. I love your recipes! They are so down to earth and doable. Thank you so much for sharing them with us!
Yay I love your videos when you take us shopping and then show us what the meal prepped with all your groceries ❤ love these meals so wholesome. I’ll be making some pea soup very soon! Just made a chickpea veg soup today and added some brown rice pasta to it 😋
Really love your videos. My husband and I just went plant based Sept 1st and you've given me some great ideas. Try chunks of sweet potatoes and dash of liquid smoke next time in your pea soup along with the carrots, onions and celery. Really yummy.🐱
THANKYOUUUUUUU FOR YET ANOTHER FABULOUS HELPFUL VIDEO MATE! God i love pea soup! Did yours get blended before that shot at 11:08 ? Cos mine never looks that smooth & creamy unless i blend it. (i use a similar recipe to yours except instead of mushrooms i put in 2 potatoes.)
Looks like Shaw’s is the east coast version of Von’s market on the west coast (Cali) and runs on the higher side too. You probably already know that though.
Love your videos! Have watched most of them. (A bit addicted 😆) One suggestion I have after watching this one is next time you get produce, try not using those plastic bags. I figure so many hands have touched it by the time it gets to the store, what’s a couple more? 🤷🏻♀️ Especially if you’re using the produce wash before preparing. Thanks for all the good content!
So I looked online at my local grocery store here in Sacramento California and organic vegetable broth is $4.50 to $5.50. Trader Joe’s for the win I think
You can make a dry mix in the food processor or vitamix. 1/2 cup dehydrated vegetable flakes 1/2 cup nutritional yeast 3 T onion powder 1 T garlic powder 1 t pepper 1 t paprika 1 t parsley 1/2 t turmeric Blend. 1 tsp per 8 oz water.
@@gjones5258 It’s the same as boxed stock sodium wise and that’s what they were using. They do make lower sodium versions. Anyway my point is it’s much cheaper to buy bouillon than boxed broth.
Hi I've come over to this way of eating, I gained weight on the starch solution I just can't eat pasta and potatoes with out wanting to eat the whole saucepan. 😂 What do you put in your smoothie please.
can you explain more about why you don't use spinach in the smoothies? I have been using spinach or kale but am interested to know if there is a reason to avoid spinach. Thank you!
Raw spinach is one of the highest oxalate containing veggies, oxalates bind to minerals in the gut and may be problematic for people prone to kidney stones, so just as a precaution I use other leafy greens in smoothies and juices where you are using a big quantity of it! Kale and bok choy are lower in oxalates
I too was so excited when I found the chopped Kale until I opened the bag, sadly they don't remove the stem and they are so thready it's ridiculous. I love to saute kale, baby bok choy, onions, mushrooms and all that other good stuff. I didn't even like it in my smoothies. I figured if I was going to be removing the stems I would rather buy the great big bag and then just freeze it. You must really go through those baby carrots, every time I buy those they wind up going bad. How is your mom loving having these meals to eat without having to cook?
What part of California are you from? Also, what does the spinach do to the smoothie ❓❓❓❓ cuz I make f Green smoothies in advance and could use any info and suggestions pkease ♨️🙏🏼😍💁🏻♀️
Spinach is high in oxalates which may cause problems for some people if consumed raw in high amounts so just as a precaution I like to use lower oxalate greens in my smoothies like lettuce or bok choy
I'm pretty sure I would starve to death eating this, as I need 1600-1800 calories per day. Can you post the calories per serving and serving size on these?
And that ladies and gentlemen is why I only use cash. You never know if a places cashless will take a shit I’ve seen it happen many times at my old job.

It makes everything taste sooo good!

Living in Colorado, I think the prices at Shaw’s was great!
Use bouillon instead of boxed broth. Huge savings!
Better than bouillon brand is delicious
Way too much sodium. I wish they made a sodium free one.

I know this is a money saver but I've never got in the rhythm of using bullion
I get so excited when I see a video from you ❤
Good morning happy Saturday morning and I loved your channel and your vlogs is amazing
Great video. And I love your Jean jacket. Omg.
McIntosh are my favorite, too!

Awesome and good to see Collie-Wally

I love Spike!
Could u explain a little more on why not spinach for smoothie. It’s what I use. Just wondering if I should switch
it’s ok in small amounts but you don’t wanna use a ton/ all the time because of the oxalates
Hi. If you live on the west coast in California how are you shopping on the east coast? 😊
I was here visiting my mom
Awesome video!
I love your videos as much as recipes

i hate how they leave the stems in there! yes we eat a lot of baby carrots 😂 she loves having me cook for her!
Could you give us a smoothie recipe that has not too much fruit in it?
Yes!
This is perfect for me 😊
There is another downside to buying pre prepped produce it's more expensive
Looks delicious 🤤
thank you! 😊

oh wow!!!
I would like to know, can your soups be frozen?

What are you using to wash your vegetables?
its called fruit and vegetable wash from trader joes!
@@Chantymarie Thanks!
Did you move back to the East Coast
Did I see Bmarz in a Lite Beer commercial?

I usually eat 1800- 1900 on days I workout too!
I recently discovered another UA-camr using the broth from can chickpeas to roast veggies
thats so smart im gonna try that!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Baby carrots are chlorinated, try to avoid them
Even organic ones?!
Why are you not in CA anymore? Sorry I missed it I guess.
I was just visiting my family in MA for a bit! Now I’m back in ca
You kinda look like a blond version of Bella Denapoli.👯♀️🎤❤️🤍✨🦋
And that ladies and gentlemen is why I only use cash. You never know if a places cashless will take a shit I’ve seen it happen many times at my old job.
I've had at least 3 places in the past week that the system went down suddenly and it was cash only. I had to leave all 3 times! crazy!
It's very healthy to keep as much cash as you can out of the banking system. Then you can still eat when the system crashes. Stock up while you can.
Interesting info but your voice and speaking style is very distracting. Very choppy and affected manner of speaking, can be easily improved.
not sure what you mean by that
Her voice is fine. Good grief! Work on improving your manners instead of criticizing others or start your own channel.
