    Chanty Marie I’m new to finding your channel but I’m so happy I did! I love how informative you are but in simplistic terms for those like me who are very interested in a Nutritarian way of eating. I became vegetarian 6 years ago and then 2.5 years ago I went WFPB vegan. I’m still have much to learn and fine tune and you are aiding in that transition. Thank you! 😁

    For lettuce leaves you could wrap them up in wet paper towels and change them. And it does make them last for a while too. Salads looked really good. So did the smoothie. Cherry tomatoes I can eat a whole container of them things.

    Love your content! I am surprised that if you use a Berkey water filter, that you don't buy more organic items. A few items are high on the pesticide list. How do you clean your non-organic fruits and vegetables?

    • @Chantymarie
      @Chantymarie  2 роки тому +1

      most of my veggies are organic besides some of the frozen stuff! I wash everything really thoroughly in my meal prep videos! I use trader joes fruit and veggie wash. buying 100% organic gets really expensive so some stuff I don't buy organic

    • @ginger9702
      @ginger9702 2 роки тому

      @@Chantymarie I understand the expense. I follow the dirty dozen as a guide. Before that, I didn't realize that berries and tomatoes and many of my favorites were so high in pesticides. I love Trader Joe's. I will try the veggie wash. Thanks for the quick response. 🙂

    No salt can be dangerous, as the body, n heart needs sodium, as an important mineral. People end up in the hospital with low sodium. Bad side effects. Also oil is needed for joints n as a lubricants.

    • @Chantymarie
      @Chantymarie  2 роки тому +2

      You get all the sodium you need from foods in their natural state, you actually don’t need any added sodium! The American heart association recommends under 1500 mg sodium a day and most Americans get 4000 mg a day which causes high blood pressure and damages your blood vessels and causes other problems

    • @geminigem599

      @@Chantymarie not true

    • @bonniemartin4232
      @bonniemartin4232 2 роки тому

      @@geminigem599 Chanty is correct. Most Americans get WAY too much sodium and there is MORE than enough sodium in natural foods. No need whatsoever for added salt. People end up in the hospital due to low sodium or any other metabolic imbalance because of usually something along the lines of illness causing severe vomiting or diarreha. You do not need oil for lubrication. No clue where you got that from. We would have a lot of vegan tinmans if that were the case LOL
