I admit, I always just looked where the hand was running. The first direction is free, but when the camera pans, I just look if I see the hand on the edge of the screen. Never seen it yet. So I go the opposite direction. Repeat two more times until caught. Always been right so far. Fuuka just makes it instant it seems. At least, that's my experience.

I already knew that. You can also easily catch rare shadows by using Fuuka's jamming skill so they can't detect you.

Can you explain what each stat does?

Str=phys damage mag=magic damage end=defense agility=speed and evasion luck=crit rate

It doesn’t work it runs away you don’t get a chance to to use search

Fuuka will ask you if you want to use search to catch it after it appears and you will always catch it.
