Been playing ER since release. Tried so hard for the longest time to bare with and like pvp. But now I can confirm that I legitimately hate pvp in Elden Ring with a passion. I commend Jeenine and other ER pvp content creators for continuing to play hard in ER pvp multiplayer.
the ornamental straight swords have not received the heavy attack speed buffs. only the one-handed heavy has the reduced release window. the golden tempering heavy attack has also not gotten the buff.
Light great swords seems to close skill gaps. Just because they are likely going to at least chip away at your health just from spam. It seems that way anyway lol.
Ngl i have no idea how to fight lgs and no idea how to play against it, nor do i want to learn. It seems so cringe. Nothing really good came from the dlc.

Man, 3:18 remember how we were always sending the elevator away in dark souls 3 so the host and his phantoms couldn't escape from us? Now we have to keep the elevator to have an escape for ourselves because the pveers can do to much pressure to us so easy for no reason.
I feel as though this game would be magnitudes better if not, for the fact that 90% of the time you’re invasion is going to be a three versus one. It used to be chance and that made it interesting. If you found a party to be too formidable you could leave and they wouldn’t get anything for it, stupid how it counts as a win, gives runes, and flasks. It encourages the worst possible types of behavior from the home team. The 3v1 has def made me better at the game tho
Can someone explain why everyone uses grease instead of just using flame/magic/lightning affinity? Does it do more damage or is it just for the grease animation?
There’s actually a couple reasons. When you infuse a weapon with elemental, it has to go through two different defenses. So if you infuse with fire, it does both fire and physical damage. Sometimes it may look like fire infusion does more damage, but because it has two types of defenses to go through it sometimes does less damage to a player. Physical damage is one defense type It has to go through therefore often times does more damage to players. Another reason is with strength builds, you get bonus damage when you two hand your weapon. The same does not apply for fire or any other infusion. physical infusions with a drawstring buff often does more damage than just an infused weapon with no buff. Also, the drawstrings buffs allow for mix ups. If you run at someone and use a drawstring, you can trick them into rolling and then roll catch them. A smaller reason is that some talismans only work with physical damage. For example, the spear talisman only buffs physical damage of the weapon. So if a weapon is infused with an element, it won’t get as big of a buff from the talisman. One more reason, if you infuse a weapon with elemental, it lowers the guard block value. Which means if you attempt to block with the weapon, there is a higher chance you will get guard broken and give the other player a free critical attack.
He wont and for a lot of reasons. First its a greataxe and those suck, bad moveset compared to damage. Second, its short af Third, aow sucks booty against anyone who knows anything about pvp Fourth, frost bite build up is terrible compared to any other weapon cold infused Fifth, the damage is terrible compared to any other greataxe on any build.

The game mechanics make it so you escape different animation faster based on the next qued thing you do. Different actions escape faster or slower. Rolling actually lets you escale faster from hitstun than anything else which means when you are hit you should always roll out, but in neutral its better to bhs or quickstep

well im not here for holy reasons, im just here because its a big part of my revenue, i cant just throw that aside
It can get tolerable in low RL cap and dueling, if you're not a masochist and find other likeminded people to FC with
It's funny from very far away. I have a hard time coping with the trash ass games I buy, so I just watch videos of people being annoyed for me 👍

It can rollcatch and frametrap with a fraction of the effort, the combo followups are not telegraphed and it also has very fast recovery
