Wow I just noticed how tall your boys are, incredible how time goes by so fast at times......I remember when Erin would carry Ellie on her back and still help Josh building the foundation to the Aframe. Erin is a trooper.

Josh,,, hate to give you more work..... However, this could prevent work later... I think your tractor needs a good looking over... In the last video, you were moving hay, and I think your loader frame bolts are loose. I saw it twist.... Mine loosens up now and then... Had one strip out because of it... Take a good look at it and check for loose bolts...
Yeah it would be a good idea to take it to the place he bought it and have them go over it real good and service it but how do they find the time that they don't need it. Or even the time to take it..Busy busy family with everything they have going on. Just have to make it a priority at some point like when their all headed off on vacation just make an appointment and take it and leave it and get it when they get back
@dandaniels4558 Real Farmers do there own repairs. That's a very simple tractor to work on... But I was simply talking about loose bolts holding the loader frame to the tractor.. Josh is an electrical engineer or at least a very good electrician,,,,, and carpenter... You will find there is very little he can not do. He just might do it all with linesman pliers!
Tighting a bolt is just hand cranking it and holding with a wrench. Taking it somewhere for someone else to do, they'd laugh. Do you ask others to peel your bananas ? No. It's easy and all farmers have a socket set, wrenches, pliers etc. @@dandaniels4558
@@dandaniels4558 Tractors and other heavy machinery aren't like cars - you don't take your machine to the dealer for servicing, the dealer sends a service truck to you.
You have a great little shepherdess there she loves the sheep and the sheep loves her. I noticed the two of you feel a lot more sure of yourself with the steel roofing now compared to when you did the original build. God Bless from your Canadian Friend.

I’m wondering if A herding dog would come in handy as the herd grows. I visited a farm that has one. It was awesome. The man just sent the dog to get the herd. That dog brought the herd down and right into the barn by itself.
Great to see the roof progressing, I still remember when there was no house, just a patch of ground that needed foundations digging in it. The huge amount of work I have seen you do is probably only a small fraction of it, as filming it all would slow you down too much, so this is one house that has been earned as it was built. Fabulous as always to see how your family works so well together.
It's hard to believe I've been watching since the very beginning of the build when you were first doing ground layout, i couldn't have imagined way back then that the small A frame would develop into such a huge beautiful home. Thanks for all the knowledge passed along during the shows
