    Normally I would say why do we need another film about Ted K? But when I saw Sharlto Copley was in it, I knew I had to see this. Sharlto not only has one of the most difficult names to say, he's one of the most dynamic screen presences in film today. He's one of the best actors to play sinister characters ever! When he's on the screen you can't take your eyes off of him. I love this guy!! 🎬🧡

      Kaczynski is a modern day prophet. He saw things that not anyone else saw and knew the only solution was death to others. People worship Prophet Muhammed, and think that's okay. Do remember, Muhammed was a war leader and too killed people, but its okay to follow his teachings.

    I have read the Unabomber's manifesto more than once, and it's a brilliant piece of writing, and it's also true. What he said about technology and it's take over of necessary human achievements and development is 100% coming to pass. It's actually scary how accurate his Manifesto is. Of course, I don't condone bombing anyone. That was counterproductive for sure, but I would recommend to anyone who wants to read a good dissertation on the rise of technology and how it will cause human devolution to read his Manifesto.

    • @FrancoisGasnier71

      Blaming technology seems very odd to me. It's very related to the transmission of ideas/language and is a consequence of us being humans which are more than other animals. Instead, the destruction of nature is to be limited or even reversed. This is the hardest goal humanity could achieve and will only be achievable with more technology.

    If this guy hadn't cracked he would have been seen today as a modern-day prophet. His manifesto (when I got around to actually listening to it) was extremely well thought out and accurate and predicted the current sociological and political landscape of the US to a tee.

    • @Godzilla52
      @Godzilla52 2 роки тому +5

      I mean objectively speaking his manefesto was wrong and ideologically skewed. The Manifesto is also full of a lot of fallacious reasoning using the analogy of a caveman stoically accepting his death by disease as a rebuttal to modern medicine. Likewise, in Ted K's ideal world, the majority of the planet would be in extreme poverty and would not be able to sustain anything resembling the size of the current human population.
      Most of the Manefesto breaks down the moment real world logic and evidence is applied to challenge it.

      Exactly. And now the government has him locked up in ADX Florence for the rest of his life. Yes he fucked up but society (us, you, me, the government) made him this way. Another guy that should be allowed back is Edward Snowdon. He is a hero. Trump was going to pardon Snowdon but there were complications that prevented it. I believe if Trump gets elected for another 4 years he might do it, and he should.

    Ted Kaczynski was tested and scored an IQ at 167. If you read his biography he was a fascinating person. If you read his manifesto and read or watch some of his interviews, he was right on with his predictions for the future. Actually, on a similar topic, if you read and watch some interviews of Charles Manson, even though he had little conventional schooling, a lot of what he said and predicted has come to be. One of Sharlto’s best movies was his portrayal of Murdoch in The A-Team! He was the unstable lunatic helicopter pilot. You couldn’t take your eyes off of him.

    I watched the Netflix Documentary about him and from what I had already read about, or seen In older materials about Ted K, it was quite accurate. What I had never known though was his unknowing and absolutely involuntary involvement in MK Ultra experiments. To be subjected to god knows what else, that could breal anyone, and I can see this as the Starting Point and hia trigger tbat would later make him the "Unabomber."

    • @Chris-hw6vu
      @Chris-hw6vu 2 роки тому

      He has said time and time again in his journals and letters that the experiments took no part in what he did, and it's rather disgusting how his involvement in the experiments is used to disregard everything he sought to change and label him as a schizophrenic psychopath by government officials and lawyers and the people.

      @@paddyret7968 We know MK ultra happened, there's just no proof Ted was part of it. It could've just been a good ol' fashioned Harvard research study.
