39:47 Aladdin: You Wanna Be A Genie, You Got It! This Goes With It!
My sisters and I played this game all the time a long time ago. We love this game! We tried to get all 70 red diamonds, but we kept missing them every time we cleared worlds. We did pretty good though.
I sucked at the game and yet enjoyed it which is funny because my dad told me that when we used to have a PS1 I would play Pac-Man World (my first game ever) and I sucked at that and then he told me that I raged and threw away the game and my dad had to sell the PS1!
I enjoy games on Xbox and Nintendo consoles more than Playstation games😂
Also can we appreciate how great the picture in 41:35 is!
Can anyone please help me!? I am stuck at 16:54 and I can't understand how to navigate this level. Even as I watch the walk-through, I can't understand all of the obstacles I am supposed to be avoiding. I keep deeming to run into something that I just cant see. I am not sure if it has to do with the layering of the cave.
I remembered playing this game as a toddler when we were moving to a new house
It's not quite as artful as the Genesis game, but still quite good, typical Capcom quality. The animation is fantastic!
+NintendoComplete Genesis version will always be better, with Aladdin using a sword and the characters looking like they were taken from the movie itself.
+Spike Riley the same time as well . you are doing the same . if I could do 4 Ra7orczz 1 10th
Cherie Jones Both versions were done by different companies, so that is why.
Another time the Genesis beat the Super Nintendo.

That's because actual animators from Disney worked on the game.
14:18 Infidels! You have touched the forbidden Treasure. Now you will never again see the light of day!
I remember getting this game for Christmas of 1993. The game itself was good, great music for example, but one thing I did not like was that the cover art (which looks great) showed Aladdin with a sword that he never had in the game. It's a very minor thing, but it did bug me.
All in all, though, the game itself is solid.
Play the Genesis version. He uses a sword.
@@educosta_89
That doesn't make the game better. He didn't even have a sword in most of the movie. (5-14-2020)
@@educosta_89 Which was pretty much unfaithful to the movie, because Aladdin used his wits, and not a weapon in the movie.
@@educosta_89 No play the SNES version. The genesis version sucks
I never knew about the game's misleading cover art
The slowdown in the final battle was a nightmare.
And for some reason they kept it in the recent re-release in the Disney Classic Collection! Surely that could have been fixed.
Otherwise a great game and better than the Megadrive version for me.
My second favorite of Capcom's Disney titles following Darkwing Duck.
Having played through both, I cannot believe anyone would honestly think the genesis version (by Virgin) is better than this. The genesis one looks great, but it's buggy. The collision detection on the sword is horrible, it has bosses you can beat without them even being onscreen (including the final boss) and the flying carpet out of the volcano (the most exciting bit of the film) isn't even a real stage on genesis. Instead it's a bonus game and skips to the next level if you lose - which feels completely unfinished. Fall in the lava, die, yet progress to the next stage? What?! This snes version however has Capcom perfection all over it. Both games are fun and worth playing, but to assume Virgin could have beaten Capcom in terms of gameplay... it's like Sylvester Stalllone going up against Mike Tyson. It's easy to love Stallone: he has all the Hollywood gloss - but we know who the real victor would be, because there's no comparison in terms of actual skill.
bUt AlAdDiN hAs A sWoRd AnD UsEs it! - the typical UA-camr, failing to realize Aladdin never truly used a sword in the movie.
Capcom's track record at that time was pretty spotless, Virgin..... wellll, they did have some decent games (Jungle Book, Cool Spot), but for some reason Japanese developers tended to have more imagination than western devs did, which is crazy. But yes, the Genesis Aladdin had it's share of issues, like the broken hit detection, and being able to hit enemies off screen, but the average gamer these days focuses more on minor stuff like a little extra animation to reazlie at the core, things were broken in that version. It's a good looking game to see in screenshots, but to play, not so much (and I do own both versions). Couple that with them not using one of the better Genesis sound drivers, and the music and sound effects came off not sounding good, now if they had used the Cube driver, the music would've been nicer sounding, but western developers didn't use it, they mostly stuck to GEMS, with a few using custom drivers. The SNES version also tends to follow the movie far more faithfully, which is insane as you'd think the western devs would've seen the movie and grasped a better understanding of how events went in it, yet the Japanese devs tended to do a better job with our properties than developers from the western world did with properties created in their part of the world.
Classic game from my childhood
I love throwback games and Especially love watching any games past or modern when they collect everything in the game I just don’t like when the run through the game at least I know I’m not wasting my time and battery on the video...
20:58 gratulations
My wish is:
I wished Aladdin 2019 film is gonna get a video game on Nintendo Switch and PS4.
SuperJustineBros it kinda came true 😊
I remember watching the movie with friends one night, and my secret plan was to find the "WOAH!" voice clip that they used for Aladdin taking damage in this game.
Spoiler alert, that voice clip doesn't exist in the movie. :/
It might've been taken from something Steve said in an episode of Full House?
It DOES exist
