My mom played and sing this song so beautifully but my mom wasn’t her and I knew she loved her in the way she sang her son. Memories wonderful to remember your parents would Over and now that they’re no longer here you remember the good times in the moments when they did sing these songs back in the 60s and 70s Appreciation is key and respect. ❤❤❤❤
I used to sing this as a small child because my sassy grandmother used to get up first thing in the morning while she cooked dinner. Yes, she started cooking dinner in the morning, so while her collard greens were on the stove she would play this song, which is her favorite song while she cooked and since she played it just about every morning I learned it and used to be like 6yrs old singing it lol. My grandmother passed away a couple of years ago and I smile every time I hear it.
